The Minnesota Timberwolves showed some young life in Friday's matchup against the 76ers. Thaddeus Young, who played for the Sixers in their horrific season last year, came up big for the T-Wolves and being a leader for the run guys scoring 12 points and 5 assists to help bring the Timberwolves a 116-110 win over the 76ers.

Other notable young players include Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins, and Anthony Bennett. LaVine score 15, Wiggins scored 11, and Bennett scored 13.

Bennett was also praised heavily by the coaching staff. Bennett missed the game earlier this week and also missed some practice time due to a strained hip flexor. "(Bennett) might have been the best player on the floor tonight," Saunders said.

"He showed very good composure and what impressed me probably the most is, with his limited time here in the last week, he understands everything we are trying to do offensively."

LaVine and Wiggins are getting a lot of the praise, but Bennett seems to fall under the radar.

The Sixers had multiple young guys who they were without tonight including Nerlens Noel (thigh), Michael Carter-Williams (shoulder) and Joel Embiid (foot).

The Timberwolves got a lot out of the Kevin Love trade, and may have one of the brightest futures out of all the bottom-tier teams. This rookie season will be huge for Wiggins and LaVine, and can bring some hope and life to the people of Minnesota. Wiggins now has a game of 18 points, and 11 points under his belt. LaVine shot a terrible 22% in his first game, but came back in Friday's matchup shooting 6-11.
