Restaurant's Attempt to Call Out LeSean McCoy for Bad Tip Backfires

Nobody likes a poor tipper, but as one Philadelphia restaurant learned, nobody likes a snitch either.

PYT—a burger joint in Philadelphia—took to Facebook to post a picture of a receipt that apparently shows Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy leaving a not-so-great tip during a recent visit.

On a bill of $61.56, Shady left a $0.20 tip.

It appears the receipt in question has now popped up on eBay, with bidding up to nearly $100,000 as of Tuesday morning:

As to how I came into possession of this item:

My good friend Tommy Up has left this receipt in my possession in order to ensure something positive comes out of this somewhat negative action that has recently taken place.

Anyone who was hoping the restaurant would apologize to McCoy is out of luck. The owner of the burger joint did, however, post a message on the establishment's Facebook page to explain his side of the story.

The restaurant might have thought that the public would ridicule McCoy, but that wasn't the case.

It's still not clear what led to the small tip, but posting the receipt on social media was a bad move by the restaurant. Although the posting may have generated some extra attention for PYT, it certainly angered some potential customers who likely won't be stopping by for burgers anytime soon.
