Happy Woman Happy World: The Foolproof Fix That Takes You From Overwhelmed To Awesome

Rate this book
The Women’s Code imparts Chelette’s proprietary strategies that can take any woman from “overwhelmed to awesome.” She deduces that women can have it all, just not at the same time. Instead, she offers the original time-based ego-RHYTHM® concept, which allows women to delve into defining what is most important during their various stages of life. Chelette then teaches how to set a Main Focus, re-structure your live for a better Work-Life Balance, and put an end to the “crazy-making” lifestyle.

Beate has captured the frustrations and desires of women in today's world and provides simple, practical, and effective ways for women to reduce stress levels and increase happiness everyday. Each chapter was a new "Aha!" moment for me. Personally, my favorite discovery is the ego-RHYTHM concept. Now I can enjoy where my life is at the moment!

Beate's writing style is personal and genuine. I believe she honestly wants to help! On her website, I found that Beate reinforces the lessons of her book and offers courses so individuals can gain deeper understanding of how to apply her advice in their own lives.

Ughhhh, why did this book have to read like one big PBS infomercial. There was so much explanation as to what this Women's Code thing the author was selling and so much chest pounding that she sold her business to Bill Gates that the main message of the book was completely lost. I'm sure there are much better women empowerment books out there to read. I was not impressed with this one, except for the one bit that talked about focusing on that one thing and stay focused on that. It's something a life coach once mentioned to me and it rings true. If she had built up more ideas like this rather than sell other products or tell me how much women don't support each other (I haven't seen that--if anything, I've seen the opposite and feel fully supported by the women and men in my life...maybe it's the people she chooses to be around) I think it would've made for a much different, more informative and inspiring read.
