Box Score The Carthage College women's volleyball team (12-1, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin), ranked 29th in the Sept. 16 American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll, defeated No. 27 Wisconsin-Whitewater (9-5), 3-1, on Wednesday night, Sept. 17 at the Kris Russell Volleyball Arena in Whitewater, Wis.  The Lady Reds' winning set scores over the Warhawks were 25-23, 25-16, 17-25 and 25-20.
 
Mallory Parsons (Fr., Lake Zurich, Ill.) led Carthage with a match-high 16 kills and a .306 attack percentage.  Emily Heuermann (Jr. Washington, Ill.) had 15 kills and hit .294, while Rachel Fields (Sr., Chicago, Ill./Oak Park-Fenwick) had 10 kills with two block assists.  Hanna Cahoon (Sr., Watertown, Wis.) collected 28 digs, and setter Karen Chin (Jr., Mundelein, Ill.) averaged 10.75 assists per set. 
 
The Lady Reds travel to Chicago on Friday-Saturday, Sept. 26-27 for the University of Chicago "Gargoyle Classic" at the Ratner Athletic Center.  Carthage plays No. 25 Cornell College on Friday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. and the No. 38 and host-Maroons at 8 p.m.  On Saturday, Sept. 27, the Lady Reds take on Kalamazoo College at Noon and Concordia University (Ill.) at 2 p.m.
