Moments ago, pharmacist Glenn Chin, the supervising pharmacist of New England Compounding Center was arraigned in federal court in Boston. He was arrested this morning by federal agents as he tried to board a flight to Hong Kong in an apparent attempt to flee the country. Chin was the supervising pharmacist at the company responsible for distributing steroids contaminated with fungal meningitis throughout the US. He has been under criminal investigation for his role in that disaster.
