Groceries to National Harbor?

The Gazette reports that a new grocery option may be headed for National Harbor.

Potomac Gourmet Pantry would occupy 6,200 square feet. The grocery store would provide 25 jobs and feature organic and local produce, meats and more, according to the report.

The store is aiming for a November opening, boosted by a $300,000 grant from Maryland. I've got some calls in, so more details when we have them.

Update: According to a Gaylord spokesperson, the company is not involved with the development, despite the Gazette report. Jamie Jenkins, who is married to a Gaylord VP, will open the store.
