While the likes of Samsung and HTC are having something of a quiet summer for product releases, Xiaomi has recently expanded into India, their first major market outside of China. Of course, for the time being China is going to be the company’s focus and their scheduled July 22nd product launch is causing a few ripples in Asia. Companies like Huawei are looking to ruin Xiaomi’s fun, but judging on this latest leak, it looks like the Mi 4 is going to be one tough device to one-up. A product listing for the Mi 4 has appeared over at Xiaomi World, and online store selling Xiaomi goods, with the price and specs of the device laid out for all to see.

According to said listing, the Mi 4 is to feature a Snapdragon 801 at 2.5 Ghz with 3GB of RAM under the hood and a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 display taking center stage. Right off the bat, these specs are impressive, and there’s more as a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera complete with OIS is listed as well as 32GB of internal storage and 4G support. Powering all of this is a 3,200 mAh battery which is one of the more sizable batteries we’ve heard in a little while.

Running Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v5 on top, the Mi 4 isn’t going to be as cheap as previous devices, listed at $600. Of course, this is a preliminary listing and these specs could be just as predicted as other rumors out there on the web. Still, we can’t see a company like Xiaomi launching a flagship without the very best specs they can, with OPPO offering a Quad HD display they have some competition to beat and every year they create the best flagship they can, so why would this year be any different? We’ve got too much longer to wait though, so we’ll find out soon enough if these specs are correct and whether or not Xiaomi have another hit on their hands.
