Dick Vitale felt all the feels on Monday night.

The college basketball sportscaster attended a Lionel Richie concert at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, and judging by his social media stream of consciousness, it looks like he would’ve rested easy had the world imploded after the final bass line.

Vitale live-tweeted the show in the breathless manner only Dickie V can sustain, complimenting Richie and keeping his 645,000 followers abreast of the set list.

It all started with an innocuous heads-up to fans.

He then tweeted a picture with Cee Lo Green, who opened up for Richie.

And, as Louis XV once said, “After Cee Lo…the deluge.”

It's hard to watch the Home Run Derby when you're dancing on the ceiling.

Richie wins the hearts and loins of the people.

There’s something about a 75-year-old man referring to his longtime wife as his “bride” that makes me believe everything is going to be OK.

And the #HITMACHINE kept rolling.

The show had barely ended and Vitale, childlike in his joy, wanted to ride the roller coaster again.

But wait: There was an encore, baby.

So much feeling, and a shared surgeon.

Of course, the sportscaster took a picture with Richie. He captioned it “All night long baby.”

We should all be so lucky to have this kind of energy and passion at Vitale’s age. It’s all night, every night, and it isn’t just a contrived act put on for broadcasting.

Vitale extracts the marrows of life, love and Lionel Richie concerts, and then he tweets it to the people.

All night long, baby.
