Katy Perry has hardly slipped from the charts since she released “Roar,” the first single from Prism, last August. Since then, she’s cranked out a steady stream of singles from the album — one of which is the most-streamed track of the year so far — and the latest arrives today in the form of a neon lyric video for “This Is How We Do.” Although not quite as riveting as the future-Egyptian-themed clip for “Dark Horse,” this one is almost as stunning: technicolor lights and bold, retro fonts flash across the screen like an old arcade game. The track itself is another ode to the stereotype of California living, an rave-pop homage to scoping out babes at Santa Barbara taco shops, getting manicures, and — surprise! — partying.
