Carthage College left the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) after the 2014 season, and the Red Men will help form the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) in 2015.  Other member of the new circuit include Benedictine University (Ill.), Dominican University (Ill.), Fontbonne University, Lakeland College, Loras College, the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the College of Mount St. Joseph.  Greenville College and North Central College are expected to join for the 2016 season.

Carthage, Dominican (Ill.), Fontbonne, Lakeland, MSOE and Mount St. Joseph, the six former members of the CVC West Division, left that league to form the MCVL, and will join first-year programs at Benedictine (Ill.) and Loras in 2015.  The MCVL will be the fourth league that the Red Men have been affiliated with in 10 years since the program gained varsity status in 2005.  Carthage was a member of the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association from 2005 to 2007, affiliated with the Midwest-III Conference from 2008 to 2011 and a CVC member from 2012 to 2014.
