CARVER, Mass. — Carver police arrested a woman on a charge of operating under the influence after she allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel of her car with two children in the back seat.
Police received a tip that a driver was pulling in and out of a driveway on Tremont Street on Saturday.
Officers said they discovered Jennifer Bangs asleep behind the wheel with the engine running, headlights on and two minor girls in the back seat.
Investigators said they woke her; she failed a field sobriety test and was placed under arrest.{} The two children were released to a relative.She was arraigned Monday on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol and two counts of Child Endangerment.
