WSOP Increases Deposit Options

Mazooma and PayNearMe have been added to the cashier in New Jersey.

Mazooma and PayNearMe have been added to the WSOP NJ cashier giving New Jersey players new ways to get money online.
WSOP owners Caesars Interactive say that customers continue to have “deposit issues” and expect the new options to help remove one of the choke points for their potential growth.

Tiger Woods and World Poker Tour to Host Charity Poker Tournament

A $10,000 buy-in tournament offers prizes including a round of golf with Tiger Woods.

Tiger’s Poker Night will take place on May 16, as part of an annual Tiger Jam charity event hosted by the Tiger Woods Foundation.
“This unique and entertaining event gives so much to my foundation, helping us grow our programs and providing even more young people with a shot at college,” said Tiger Woods.
The $10k buy in for the poker night will surely help.

Delaware Online Poker Revenues Rebound in March

Revenues up, but new signups tail off.

Delaware online gaming revenue figures for the month of March show online poker rebounding after notching two straight declining months to start the year.
The combined revenue from poker for all three racinos licensed to offer internet gaming was up 14% to $84,392.
Overall revenues from online gaming are up 24% on the month, reaching a new all-time high of $206,833.

Swedish Poker Fraudsters Jailed

Stolen account data was used to defraud players for four years, says Swedish regulator.

Eight people have been convicted of fraud and computer hacking in Sweden after using information stolen from Svenska Spel and other operators to steal money from players.
Over a four year period from 2007 to 2011, the criminals gained access to private account information, and then used the information to log on to player accounts.
