We are looking at another wave of Official apps from online services popular in India. After ZoomIn, it’s Tradus, a popular online shopping portal which have rolled out their app recently for Windows Phone. The best part of its appearance is that popular online shops like Flipkart, Amazon etc don’t have an app for Windows Phone yet.
Those who are new to Tradus, it’s an online store which brings local markets online i.e. you can find the same rate for the products sold in places like Karol Bagh, Gaffar, Chandni Chowk, Nehru Place and so on in Delhi. When you launch the app for the first time, you can select Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore if you are from or around the city. There is also an All India option.
Now, when I said that app shows local deals on your phone, I was pretty serious because it takes up your pin code to refine this search. Once that’s done, it shows offers and deals from various categories. This comes in handy if you get around a different area and are eager to find if there is a local deal available. You can also check out deals on fire, best-selling products and shocker offers.
That said, my experience for the app is pretty good. Not only is it well done, the overall user experience is impressive. It clearly shows that Tradus believed in getting a native app developed instead of porting their apps from other platforms. Just before I wrap this app, just make sure to check out the deals section and menu which has brilliant categories to find your shopping deals easily.
