Lumia 630 will not have a Dedicated Camera Button & Flash

Lumia 630, rumoured as the first DUAL SIM Windows Phone 8.1 Nokia phone, is not going to have a dedicated camera button and flash.  As per the recent image leaked by the infamous evLeaks, the press image clearly points to that with whole lot of BEZEL space all around the phone which Nokia still hasn’t got rid to bring more screen space.

Keeping these two factors in mind, I hope the phone turns out to be pretty cheap. In fact this could be the next Lumia 525 with bigger screen size, more RAM to run the big games in its 854 X 480 resolution screen. The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 400 processor.

IMO,  not having a button and flash is a deliberate step to keep the cost down as better processor and dual SIM support must have already increased the hardware cost. The phone is also supposed to get virtual keys instead of capacitive buttons but looking at the images I am still not sure because of leftover bezel space.

Also notice, Lumia 630 speakers are not rounded instead of rectangular design used in this series. Overall the phone looks pretty sleek and could be a wow factor for consumers looking for low range phones with dual SIM support.

Many users had been asking for a dual sim Lumia phone from a long time and I hope the pricing is done correctly. I believe Lumia 630 should be released in April once the Windows Phone 8.1 announcement is official.

  1. No Flash is disappointing. I’m surely buying one of Goldfinger,Martini or Icon’s global version.
