Mike Trout won one of the American League’s outfield Silver Slugger Awards for the second time in two full seasons.
The Silver Slugger honors the best offensive players at each position, as voted by coaches and managers. Three outfielders are selected without regard to position.
Trout is joined by former Angel Torii Hunter and Adam Jones among the AL’s Silver Slugger outfielders.
Trout is also a finalist for the AL MVP, which will be announced on Nov. 14. Miguel Cabrera is expected to win that award.
