The Angels game against the Texas Rangers on Saturday has been moved to a 9 a.m. PT start because of the threat of rain later in the day in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The game had been originally scheduled to start at 5 p.m. PT.
The extreme shift of start times occurred because having a game postponed by rain on the penultimate day of the season would cause significant problems and a competitive disadvantage to the Rangers, who are in the pennant race.
The game will still air on Fox Sports West in Southern California.
