INTERVIEW with JILLIAN STONE

Halloween is proving to be a busy day here at Supernatural Central. A double header, even. We're back again today to talk with Jilian Stone, who has a zombie adventure thriller she'd like to tell us about today.
You know there's trouble when there's a bloody Z, non? Here's what the book is about:
Survival tip #1: When you’re caught in the middle of the zombie apocalypse, get a badass partner.

The zombie apocalypse is on, and Lizzy Davis is determined to survive any way she can. As a surgeon, she’s used to saving lives; not cutting into the basal ganglia to make sure the patient stays dead. When the refugee camp is overrun by zombie hordes, Lizzy manages to escape only to run into Black Hawk pilot Chris Oakley in the middle of the Syrian Desert.
Lizzy and Chris fight off zombie attacks as they make their way toward a joint military air base northeast of Kirkuk. Just one problem, they’ll have to pass through the drone-patrolled DMZ— Dead Meat Zone. To get there, they form uneasy alliances with French-Arab commandos and a black ops interrogator who’s slowly rotting before their eyes.

Along the way, Lizzy and Chris manage to find time for each other—the sizzling red-hot lovemaking kind of time. And who knows? They might have a chance at love if they live long enough.
Warning: Features red hot to erotic love scenes

Jillian stopped by Supernatural Central today to answer a few questions for us.

SC:  Tell me a little bit about your main character in this book.

JS: Dr. Elizabeth Davis, or Lizzy, as she is called by friends and family, is used to saving lives not cutting into the basal ganglia to make sure the patient stays dead. When the refugee camp is overrun by a tsunami-sized horde of zombies, she finds herself alone, in the middle of the Syrian desert, armed with a slingshot and a machete. Lizzy is independent, adventurous, and resilient, but she doesn’t recognize those qualities in herself. Half the time, she thinks she’s a baby and a wimp. The men she meets on the run know better. Survival Rule #1: When caught in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, get a badass partner.
SC: We think rule #2 should be: Stay out of RV's. But that's just us. Do you believe in the paranormal and if so, do you have an experience you can share?

JS: I believe that we are nanoparticles away from being able to manipulate the physical universe. It’s like those puzzle pictures you run across with two images—one way you see an old hag, the other a young woman. All it takes is a subtle shift in how you process the visual information.
SC: I've read ahead, so that's a good lead in to my next question. . What titles are you working on now that you can tell us about?

JS: I’m just finishing up a novella, WOLF, INTERRUPTED, which will be published as part of a shifter anthology in early 2017.
