At times, Setters and Charlton were a double act more akin to cabaret than football management

Maurice Setters and Jack Charlton lived some of their happiest days in each other's company.
Their saddest would be spent apart, slowly but defiantly drifting towards their demise, each of their brains stubbornly refusing to co-operate with any spirited attempts to recall those halcyon days. So much to remember but impossible to recall.
