Acquisition of Premier Refrigeration Introduces 25 New Commercial Refrigeration Maintenance Clients to Synecore
After 31 years providing refrigeration maintenance for the hospitality and leisure industry, Premier Refrigeration is due to be acquired by Kent-based Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor, Synecore. The Premier Refrigeration takeover comes as the Managing Director, Robert Chisholm retires.
After three decades servicing the refrigeration at over 25 commercial sites across London – comprising restaurants, hotels, pubs, clubs, cafes and food production facilities – Mr. Chisholm decided it was time to take a well-earned break from the refrigeration business and welcomed the offer from Synecore to take over all of the company’s maintenance contracts.
Synecore is an established M&E contractor for the hospitality and leisure industry. Its ability to design and complete sophisticated heating, air conditioning, ventilation, electrical and refrigeration installations is respected by major highstreet and airside brands. Consequently, Synecore supports the national roll-out plans for Pret A Manger, Tossed, Leon Restaurants, Comptoir Libanais and Hilton Hotels.
As part of its extensive services, Synecore provides Planned Preventative Maintenance for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning. The company’s service centre in Sittingbourne manages refrigeration maintenance and emergency calls for clients throughout London and the South East and uses specialist software called Joblogic to optimise efficiency onsite.
“We have a long-lasting affiliation with Premier Refrigeration, spanning 25 years,” explained Synecore’s Managing Director, Paul Thomas. “With such a strong relationship and a mutual ethos for exceptional customer care, our acquisition posed a sensible transition, one that would benefit Synecore and Premier Refrigeration’s client-base.”
When asked about the acquisition, Mr. Chisholm commented, “To handover my business to such a reputable refrigeration company is testimony to my lifetime’s work. I have spent the last 31 years building up a strong client-base, that appreciates my level of service. Some of my clients have been with me since the beginning, so finding a company that could continue my level of service could have been challenging.
“Fortunately, I have known Paul and the management team at Synecore for many years. I have always been deeply impressed by its methods. Therefore, I couldn’t feel more at ease and confident in handing over my refrigeration maintenance contracts, knowing they will be looked after for many years to come.”
The acquisition of Premier Refrigeration will complete on Monday 1 October. However, both parties have agreed to a three-month handover to ensure a smooth transition.
