Valley Residents Take Part In CT Film Industry Training Program

Participants of the Connecticut Film Industry Training Program this week worked on a short film, To Dye For,” that is being produced by the students in an intensive four-week film class hosted at Quinnipiac University in Hamden.

The state program, which is facing an uncertain future as a result of economic concerns, has attracted more 100 individuals from across Connecticut this year — including Valley residents, pictured here.

Lauren Smith, of Ansonia, monitors the script to the Connecticut Film Industry Training Program production of To Dye For” with Patrick Charney, of Shelton, Wednesday afternoon.

Alex Harris and Greg Candler, both of Shelton, also took part in the four-week intensive program, which is in its fourth year.
