Photographer Jill Thomas sent over this beautiful wedding to share with us today. I have simply fallen in love with the bride’s gorgeous vintage inspired dress she had made for her wedding – and her fabulous hair piece! Just so lovely. The whole wedding feels like you are looking at photos from another time – love it! It’s just so timeless looking. From Jill, Carissa and Josh were married at the LDS temple in Manhattan. We then walked two blocks to Central Park for family pictures. Then we walked back to the subway and fit everyone on the subway that would transport them to their luncheon near central park.
Tina Ahlberg of Hansen’s Flower Shop was the florist who created the gorgeous green bouquet.
We actually did a small shoot on the brooklyn bridge the day before their wedding because the day of was going to be a little crazy.
Their reception was held at an art gallery in Connecticut (where Carissa is from). Josh is an illustrator + graphic designer. They are both artistic people and I love how they incorporated that in many aspects of their wedding. The art gallery was so fun and they had the most amazing jazz band play – Lapis Luna.
Love that photo on the subway! Congrats you guys! Thanks for sharing you beautiful photos with us Jill. You can see more from their wedding on Jill’s Blog. Jill is based in San Diego, CA and is available for travel worldwide.
