Hannah is the author of two unbelievably fantastic YA novels (Wonder Show and Some of the Parts), and will venture into completely different territory in 2017: children's picture books. Hannah is crazy talented and we love her books.
In a guest post at a blog hosted by Cynthia Leitich Smith (who some of you may recognize as the author of the Tantalize series), Hannah shares a very emotional story revealing how the death of her brother inspired her to write Some of the Parts. It certainly could not have been easy to dig into such painful memories, but by doing so she was able to give Tallie, the main character, an beautifully honest and heartfelt voice.
