‘Royal commentators’ outed as unethical journalists and liars by YouTubers

National Service Of Remembrance At The Cenotaph

In the UK, there are two young YouTubers doing the lord’s work. Their names: Josh Pieters and Archie Manners. They do these really involved “pranks” with public figures, journalists and sometimes celebrities. Sometimes the pranks are not harmful in the least, and they’re just poking light fun at people. These were the same guys who flew that fascist, racist a–hole Katie Hopkins to Prague to accept a fake award, and in her acceptance speech, she was (of course) shockingly racist and deeply offensive. And Pieters and Manners got it all on camera, and they did real damage to Hopkins’ career.

So it was last week, when the two guys decided to engineer a “prank” which is more like outing some vile people as vile. What was the prank this time? Manners and Pieters organized four “royal commentators” to provide commentary which they claimed would air on a show just after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah. Manners and Pieters asked those commentators to pretend to react to the interview, which of course no one had seen at that time. The royal commentators: Dickie Arbiter (the Queen’s former press secretary), Ingrid Seward (EIC of Majesty), Richard Fitzwilliams (just some dude who has been providing a ton of nasty quotes about the Sussexes recently) and Victoria Arbiter (CNN’s royal correspondent). Here’s the video:

Yeah, yet another reminder that there’s something deeply rotten at the core of the British media. The fact that there’s this entire industry of “royal commentary” and it’s seen as, implausibly, a legitimate faction of journalism, is profoundly disturbing. If you want to speak about this from a purely journalistic perspective, what they’re doing is completely unethical. It’s journalistic malpractice. They all need to be fired from all of their (many) jobs in abject disgrace. Ingrid C-word especially. “In the interview, to my mind, this was an actress giving one of her great performances.” Know thyself, C-word.

  1. Lauren says:

Fitzwilliams even defended his position. He said that it’s normal to give prerecorded commentary about interviews that they still haven’t seen. This is disgusting. They really are a carnival of so called experts.

    • STRIPE says:

That is very disturbing to me. Not only were they willing to lie in this case, but admitting that this kind of behavior is par for the course? Not a good look in this instance specifically or for the media in general.

      • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

It completely undermines the palaces’ claims. It’s perfect.

      • Where'sMyTiara says:

Also seems like grounds for a slew of new lawsuits, eh?

And some of the stuff the press have been putting out in the last 48 smacks of terrorist threats, tbh. Penny Junor, The Express, and Andre’ whatshisname all with nasty headlines/tweets.

      • Nana says:

I think H & M should keep 10% of whatever defamation cases they win from now on bc: 1) They’ll never have to work again, they can just work their land and tend to their chickens in peace and 2) The salty british press’/commentators’ tears would be delicious.

    • Levans says:

I love how Harry and Meghan keep exposing that the emperor has no clothes. These so called the experts know nothing and create tales to fit their pre-existing narratives.

    • Belli says:

I thought it might be because of how quickly and easily they all agreed, but wow to actually straight up admit that they get paid to lie? How does he think that helps him??

    • PrincessK says:

They are disgusting vultures and greedy for money. All of them Arbiter, Jobson, Levin, Junor, Seward etc….they are windbags spreading falsehoods against the Sussexes in order to cosy up to the Palace.

When will an insider Palace staff blow the lid on what is really going on behind the palace walls.

      • windyriver says:

It’s stunning these supposedly professional people with presumably respected backgrounds (YMMV), especially the three older Fitzwilliams, Arbiter, and Seward, were perfectly wiling to talk on camera to a couple of twenty somethings from a company they knew nothing about, which was in fact bogus. They’re obviously nothing more than paid guns for hire. Couldn’t say any plainer that “show me the money” is all that matters.

      • Tessa says:

What bothers me is that Junor is a friend of Charles and Camilla. She even vacationed with Camilla. So why oh why does not Charles complain to her about how she is treating his son and daughter in law in the media. Seward also is friendly with Charles. What is wrong with Charles that he does this to his own son and daughter in law. A word from him would at least top Seward and Junor.

      • Nic919 says:

Someone tweeted that they were surprised that one person still showed up as a royal expert when her claim to fail was giving Charles a bj at a summer ball in the 70s.

Some of the responses made guesses but no confirmation of who.

      • PrincessK says:

Yes, I read that rumour too …they said it was Seeweed??

      • Lorelei says:

I never again want to hear them mock Harry for “falling for” that prankster who pretended to be Greta Thunberg.

If any of them ever bring it up again as an example of Harry being “dim” or how it never would have happened if they still had the palace’s “gold standard” protection, we can just reply with this link.

      • Where'sMyTiara says:

I think the insider is Harry and he’s going to go off about it in about 3hrs.

    • Scal says:

Since they all shredded so quickly I bet it is normal to prerecord-but only after X has actually happened.

I find it hard to believe that the standard is to react to something that hasn’t aired to been leaked yet.

    • Emm says:

They obviously aren’t real journalists, they are just a bunch of hack gossip columnists. Of course they can prerecord their reactions, because they already know what they are going to be no matter what H & M do or say. They have absolutely no desire or intention of actually listening and maybe learning and growing or doing real journalistic work. And these are the people the palace cozies up too. It’s sick.

      • Becks1 says:

Someone on Twitter had a good analysis of this in general, that the British press doesn’t react to news, they create it. They make a statement and dare you to prove it’s not true. So here they’re saying the interview was awful, Meghan is horrible, because that’s the story they are creating.

    • AnnaKist says:

      Carnival? More like cannibals.

    • I hope this video on YouTube is as widely watched as Harry’s road trip with Cordon. I’d like to see it get 15 million hits. All 4 of them deserve it. And CNN needs to Sh*tcan Vicky and hire Scobie or at least someone with journalistic ethics. I took a course in journalism and I remember the drill of a good reporting of a story: who, what, when, where, and how. There was no MAYBE.

      • Lady D says:

Plus, one of the aspects of reporting is keeping your opinion out of the story. It’s like a journalism law, no one is interested in your opinion (op-eds aside) Just report the facts and quote participants accurately when crafting a newspaper article.
Lowcountry Lady, ‘why’ is also an important part of that mantra.

  2. ArtHistorian says:

This couldn’t have happened to more deserving people. Hoist these jerks on their own petards.

    • Myra says:

I laughed so hard when I saw Victoria Arbiter in the mix. Of all of them, she was doing so much damage by feigning politeness and smiles while she subtly promoted negativity towards the Sussexes.

      • Izzy says:

I hope CNN gets dragged through the mud and raked over the coals for putting her on the air.

      • Lorelei says:

CNN needs to fire her. I mean, this is ridiculous — if they don’t force someone to resign for lying this blatantly, why would we trust anything that anyone on that network has to say ever again?

      • MA says:

Yeah her veneer of pleasantness and respectability was more damaging, death by a thousand cuts. Finally she got her comeuppance. So damaging and her credibility in the US should be damaged beyond repair but we’ll see…..

      • Donna B. says:

Yeah. I posted this video to their thread on twitter promoting the H&M interview with Oprah. Since she got paid & all.

  3. Ginger says:

Karma is slowly coming to these people and I am here for it. I’m so glad they were exposed.

  4. Digital Unicorn says:

I love these guys – this was beautiful.

If you give people enough rope they will hang themselves – I guess this is why Chuck has kept out of the bullying mess created by KP, who are frankly digging themselves into a deeper and deeper hole with every leak.

    • Merricat says:

Yes, you can absolutely tell that William was the “mastermind” behind the past week’s torrent of accusations, mainly because what he thinks is cleverness is ham-fisted nonsense that even a child could see through. FFK? Ha-ha.

    • UptownGirl says:

This was a masterpiece!! So well done and I am thrilled that they brought these idiots out in the open where they belong!! It will be delightful to see their reactions to being conned and all of their nastiness, racism and unethical behaviour will be out in the open.
On a side note, CNN must fire that hack!!

    • Ann says:

When they started putting in specifics and half of these hacks still responded? Oh my lord. That thing about the donkeys, and Meghan being anti vaccine? I don’t follow H and M that closely but I’m pretty sure there was no, what was it, donkey sanctuary? It’s shocking and disgusting but I was laughing too. What maroons.

  5. C-Shell says:

I can’t wait to see if there are consequences for Victoria Arbiter, who is regularly on CNN, The Today Show, all major US broadcast media. The others are desiccated relics at the end of whatever “career” they may believe they have, but VA has reached a high point, thanks to H&M. She was totally silent on Twitter yesterday.

    • Digital Unicorn says:

She only has a career because of Daddy (Dickie) and his connections -she’s toast in the US. Karma is here.

    • C-Shell says:

@DU, I agree. And CNN had that Diane Clehane woman on again this morning. There’s no way she knows anything really going on in the UK, let alone the RF, but she certainly speaks for the deeply held feelings and opinions of senior royals. It’s pretty amazing.

    • harla says:

I tweeted CNN to let them know about this video and their royal correspondent who lies with amazing ease.

    • Lizzie says:

CNN had a different ‘expert’ this morning who had a very negative bias against the Sussex’s. So it wasn’t victoria but same message.

      • C-Shell says:

VA, arguably, is slicker at the way she stabs the Sussexes in the back. Clehane who was on this morning, was on CNN with Brianna Keillor a few days ago and was even worse. It was so bad, and I think there must have been backlash, that Brianna had Omid on a day or so later to repair the damage.

      • (TheOG) Jan90067 says:

Actually, on Brian Stetzer’s show, he had on someone named Kristen Meinzer (https://www.kristenmeinzer.com/royal-watcher) and Richard Palmer (Daily Express – BOOHISSSSSS) discussing the bias in the UK press vs US (about how the Brits are racially slanted etc), and boy did Meinzer give it to them! She cited examples how it was against H&M (esp M) and asked Palmer for PROOF of what he was saying…and of course, he couldn’t. It was a thing of beauty!

      • I think Meinzer would be a great royal commentator for CNN instead of that trash they usually give airspace. I’d love to see her with Scobie on CNN.

      • Lorelei says:

Someone had RICHARD PALMER on a show called “Reliable Sources?” L-O-F-L

@LowCountry Lady, totally agree that Meinzer would be a fabulous replacement for any of these idiots.

      • Nic919 says:

Thanks for watching. I wanted to watch Meinzer because she’s written some interesting articles but I would have been able to tolerate Palmolive.

      • Where'sMyTiara says:

CNN needs to be told by the public that their attempts to “both sides” this, with giving uncontested air time to race baiters like the Arbiters and then pulling Omid Scobie on to grill him about Meghan is not responsible journalism, it’s enabling terrorism, and they need to knock it off.

  6. Kalana says:

Now do Roya Nikkah next. She’s basically someone who takes dictation at this point.

The Times is corrupt. That is a very real problem.

    • Lorelei says:

@Kalana I agree, because the Times truly is regarded as a reliable source (worldwide, I think?). No one expects journalistic integrity from the Daily Mail or the Sun or whatever— but we all thought the Times had higher standards. It’s disturbing to see this BS from them.

      • Nic919 says:

Murdoch owns the Times so it’s garbage at this point. Same as the WSJ. Any opinion articles are trash and they are riding on their past history of not being biased trash.

      • Where'sMyTiara says:

Honestly after the last four years, I don’t expect journalistic integrity coming from England, full stop. So much racist Tory madness, from Brexit to H&M.

  7. Vanessa says:

This isn’t surprising at all everyone who been following Meghan and Harry story for the beginning knew how these royal reporters operators. The follow the same plan every time I’m so happy that everyday people are seeing and witnessing what is happening.

  8. Oatmeal says:

And to think , all this could have been avoided if Willnot and Cannot would have just sat there and ate their food after M&H married

    • PrincessK says:

      Exactly

    • Becks1 says:

This is the third time in the past few days I’ve seen that term used for Will and Kate – “just sat there and ate their food” And honestly I’ve never heard the term before but it is SO APPROPRIATE for them

  9. aquarius64 says:

    They are really THIS stupid.

  10. Cecilia says:

This video is not going viral enough for me. Im so happy they finally got exposed tho. Notice how VA has been really quiet.

    • Eleonora says:

I think it’s still gaining interest and is about to be viral.
Share it, even if it’s on the news section of an embroidery forum 😀

    • Vicky going quiet is hopefully because she’s doing the ‘dance of excuses’ to CNN brass right now. I hope she goes down for this as to being recognized by any legitimate media source in USA.

      • Jais says:

I don’t know how cnn could keep her on after that video? But I mean if they do, what bullshit.

Kind of feels like cnn and some other us new sites are being a little lazy in reporting. Like we’re covering the royals so it’s not that serious and we just need to get someone w a Brit accent on to talk about this. Royal gossip though can be important bc it reflects so much about real important issues in a culture.

The thing is the viewpoint on HM has been so myopic in England that even seemingly neutral commentators keep showing their bias. I really hope the us media do their research and have at least 2 commentators of truly diff viewpoints in the future.

      • Lorelei says:

@Jais it reminded me of that day a year or so ago when a recording of someone at NBC (I *think* it was NBC? It was definitely one of the big three networks) was leaked, and they were overheard saying that they purposely weren’t covering Andrew because they needed to “protect their access to the Cambridges.”

Did we ever hear about that ever again? Was that person fired? (I’m guessing not.) It was a big story for like a day and then disappeared completely. It wasn’t taken seriously for the reason you said — Royal stories aren’t considered serious “news.” There are no ramifications for this BS and there need to be. And that was about Andrew’s CRIMINAL behavior.

If there are never any professional consequences and everyone knows it, all of these people can keep just keep on lying and cashing their paychecks without worrying that anything will happen if they’re exposed.

      • Jais says:

Hey Lorelei, you’re right that story lasted about a day, maybe two? It’s frustrating to watch

  11. BertieBott says:

I’m so happy you covered this. These disgusting a*sehole notgoingtocall them professionals/shmoyal commentators have no morals and I truly hope are laughed at for the rest of their notgoingtocallit careers

  12. Petra says:

I’m not surprise. I hope real journalists are doing a deep dive investigation into the last for 4 years of what Meghan and Harry went through and are still experiencing. CNN should fire Victoria Arbiter asap.
The positive result are starting to show and the interview haven’t aired yet. I’m overjoyed. A big thank to all the folks here for supporting Meghan and Harry.

    • Edna says:

CNN is contributing to this nonsense. They have Richard Palmer on their Reliable Sources show this morning even after having been presented evidence of his bullying and racism.

      • WithTheAmerican says:

Brian Stelter is a known misogynist who elevates other man childs. Reliable Sad Sacks is more like it.

      • Nic919 says:

I didn’t watch but I did see popehat and Nick Martin roast Palmolive for threatening to sue an American woman for libel because she called him racist. Popehat is an actual lawyer in the US and basically confirmed that no UK judgment in libel is enforceable in the US.
And then Nick Martin asked Palmolive to send him his contact info because he is working on an article about UK tabloid reporters and their issues with black critics.

      • Midnight@theOasis says:

@Nic919. Thing is if it’s one thing Americans can spot is racism. The whole world knows how racist America is. And Americans can spot racist bullshit so if they tell you you’re being racist, then you’re being racist.

  13. Q says:

    Wow
This needs to blow tf up!! Spread the video everywhere you can. I’m fuming 😡

  14. L84Tea says:

I’ve seen people tagging CNN and all the other news channels with this. I hope every one of them is fired for this. Completely unethical!

    • Lilly (with the double-L) says:

I hope CNN does something positive. But, honestly, they’ve been called out on their ersatz veneer of legit journalism and seem to have chosen their path. I’m an optimist at heart, but so far I haven’t been tempted to return to watching CNN’s “news.”

  15. Em says:

This is incredible!!! Bless these two gents. I love that these people have been outed and so thoroughly embarrassed. But my god, I am laughing at the Donkey Sanctuary and Megan refuses to get vaccinated parts so much. I hope Megan and Harry get to see this – it should be played after the interview.

    Donkey Sanctuary…..

    • Yes, GAYLE — please, please, please use this YouTube videotext week to discuss how truly crazy the royal commentators are. This needs a follow-up, prime time expose here in USA.

      • Lorelei says:

@LowCountry Lady I wish that all three networks would briefly cover it on the evening news tonight, right BEFORE the interview airs. Give viewers some context!!

    • Golly Gee says:

There is a donkey sanctuary in Devon. You can look it up. There are even pictures of Camila there.

  16. aquarius64 says:

These RRs show one face to the US media and their true selves back home. VA got busted huh,? The US press is not going to like being played for fools. Get Robert Jobs on and Pierd Morgan next.

  17. Ginger says:

The royal rota were silent on this video. Omid was the only one that talked about it.

    • Lorelei says:

@Ginger, I’m shocked! And they will all continue to bitch about how Omid is the biased one. They need to do some reflection and look in the mirror after this, jfc. If only to avoid embarrassing themselves this publicly in the future.

      • Golly Gee says:

They don’t need to reflect. They know exactly what they’re doing, and they know they are being hypocritical. That doesn’t mean they’re going to admit it publicly. This is how they choose to make their living, eyes wide open.

  18. JK says:

Manners and Pieters did a fantastic job exposing the royal commentators! What a bunch of shameless, vile scumbags.

    • Digital Unicorn says:

I want them to ‘prank’ Lawrence Fox who has just announced he is running for London Major.

Where can I buy a house on the red plant? I don’t mind it doesn’t have an atmosphere, I just want to get far away from my fellow human beings.

      • Emm says:

Oh no, wow. You are kidding?? I was actually just thinking about my roller coaster relationship with him a few nights ago when I binged Sanditon which co stars his brother. I was thinking about how I loved him so much while watching Lewis, then I started following him on IG, then he started speaking, then I unfollowed, then he wouldn’t stfu, then I actively started to despise him and will never watch another thing with him. Is the whole family as deplorable? Anyway, o hope his campaign goes as well as Kanye’s, in that it drains his finances (which he’s already said Billie took from him *sobs white tears*) and leaves him with nothing to show for it.

      • Betsy says:

@Emm – I’ve seen him on a show or two, but most notably on Foyle’s War. I don’t want to spoil it, but… I think he was playing himself to some extent, I’ll put it that way.

      • Emm says:

@Betsy-I actually watched Foyle’s War years ago, it was one of the first of those British shows I binged like Midsommer and I don’t remember him thank goodness. I guess I’m not going to go back and re watch then lol.

      • Jaded says:

Oh Gawd No! I can’t watch Lewis anymore because of him, he makes my skin crawl. He’ll certainly be shot down by POC and women – his reputation as a racist and misogynist is pretty bad.

  19. Edna says:

Wow. Just goes to prove they really are unprofessional carnival of paid racist bullying hacks.

  20. Chaine says:

I’m quite intrigued about the donkey sanctuary! Is this a real interest of Megan’s or did they entirely make it up? Either way, revealing and hilarious.

    • lanne says:

      Totally made up!!!

    • windyriver says:

Really don’t want to have to go back and listen to this once again – but am I correct that no one seemed to ask the obvious of these two young men before answering the donkey sanctuary and vaccination questions – “how do you know what’s in the interview”? I mean, hasn’t it been pretty widely known that no one has an advance copy of the interview, including TQ?

      • MsIam says:

Because they don’t care about the truth they have an agenda. Even though every last one of these assholes should be thanking Meghan and Harry day and night because most haven’t worked this much in years. Probably since Diana was alive.

      • Lorelei says:

@WindyRiver ITA…wait until they were all done giving their commentary (lol) and THEN ask them exactly that, just to watch them squirm and try to come up with a response.

  21. Harper says:

Total bullies. This video broke on Friday so I hope Oprah had time to add one more voice-over and clip of this to the program.

  22. Phoenix says:

This video really didn’t get enough credit.
    What a bunch of psychos

  23. Mia4s says:

Oh this is a thing of beauty! Spread this video far and wide; just more evidence that the monarchy and the weirdos it props up is an idea whose time has looooooong passed.

    • Brittney B says:

I shared this on Facebook yesterday, and my British friends were absolutely cackling at the karma.

I hadn’t posted anything about Meghan before, so I didn’t know where they stood, but I was delighted that they’re all on her side too. Obvious racist sabotage is obvious.

  24. M.S. says:

Between the reaction to Harry and Meghan and the awful transphobia that’s become more and more prevalent, the last couple of years have really affected my view of the U.K. and the British press (I mean, I knew the tabloids were horrible but even the “respected” newspapers are such garbage especially on these issues). It just feels like a very small-minded, provincial, small-c conservative country that is hostile and terrified of any change or progress.

    • harla says:

I agree! I don’t know if the royal family or the British public yet realize that the world is now viewing All of them through the lens of their racist, misogynistic press?

Personally, I longed to visit London and all the royal tourist spots but now I wouldn’t visit that isle if they paid me too and I don’t think that I’m the only one who feels this way.

      • MsIam says:

Totally agree harla. I always wanted to visit the UK, my daughter went to London in April before M&H wedding and she loved it. But since then, nah I’ll spend my pitiful American pennies elsewhere, thank you very much!

      • Hell Nah! says:

I love to travel but, oddly enough, the U.K. was never on my list of places I wanted to visit. Several years ago, I was nineteen years old and was preparing to fly to France to spend a semester learning French. On hearing I would be passing through Heathrow, my London-based aunt begged me to stop over to see her for a few days enroute to Paris. I (reluctantly) agreed.
Upon landing at Heathrow, the immigration officer did not believe that I would be leaving the U.K. after my planned three-day visit with my aunt. He snorted in disbelief at my “ruse” of going to France to study the French language. Despite presenting him with my student visa to France, my acceptance letter from the university, and my outward-bound ticket from Heathrow to Charles de Gaulle, he directed me to a queue for secondary inspection.
Bewildered by his sneering attitude, I stepped into the inspection line and noted everyone in front of me was, like myself, a person of colour. I felt increasingly ill at ease as one by one my fellow “suspects” disappeared into screening rooms as the queue edged forward. When my turn came, I was brought into a small room with two female immigration inspectors. They capsized and searched my suitcase with a strange zeal. On finding nothing more damning than a selection of jeans and French grammar books, I was instructed to disrobe so they could perform a full body cavity search.
To this day, I still have no words to describe the shock, the humiliation, and the sense of powerlessness I felt at having to undergo a strip search for my “crime” – having the audacity to want to travel while Black.
That incident broke me in ways I could not have previously imagined, deeply impacting the way I viewed the world around me, and my place in it. Sadly, racists and the ugly by-products of racism exist throughout the world, but for me, Britain and its ugly colonial past are ever bright symbols of a stain that endures. I’ll never set foot there again.
I wish Harry and Meghan a lifetime of happiness with their growing family. I hope that, at some point in the future, they will be able to find the space and the grace to put all they have suffered at the hands of the RF and the BM far, far behind them as they continue to soar.

      • HEL NAH….I’ve got no words, except — when I hear someone speak a truth like yours — I’m ashamed to be ‘white’ and ashamed to be part of the human race that could knowingly inflict such misery on another human. I’m so sorry for what you suffered and wish you strength. That sort of experience has to stay with you forever.

      • MA says:

@Hel Nah – I’m so sorry you had to go through that. H&M’s ordeal already changed my image of the UK but your story leaves me speechless. Disgusting.

      • Amy Too says:

Hel nah, I cannot imagine how humiliating an experience like that would be, to be strip searched by strangers who suspect you because you’re a POC. And the horrific thing about racism is that it makes the people who have done absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about feel embarrassed and humiliated while the white racist people get to feel smug and superior. They should be the ones feeling, shame, humiliation, embarrassment, and yet they’re not.

      • Riley says:

        @Hel Nah
I am so sorry that happened to you.

  25. Prairiegirl says:

Good for these YouTubers! Hey, Kaiser, have you considered contacting CNN and offering yourself as a Royal commentator? You actually pay attention to developments, and an alternative point of view is obviously needed, what have you got to lose?

  26. Osty says:

So even when they asked them about a donkey sanctuary didn’t prompt them to realise something wasnt adding up ? Richard and Dickie lied about her mentioning wills when they don’t know that
The video was sad and funny at the same time cos this is how they have been treating her for years , presenting their opinions as facts, making ridiculous accusations and lying to suit their own personal agenda and greed and sadly pple believe them

  27. Culture Cannibal says:

Archie Manners is brother to Violet Manners, of the aristo Manners sisters, who trashed Meghan and told her to “sit down”.

So, at least *some* of the aristo set knows what’s up.

  28. Liz version 700 says:

The winds of change are blowing in and in this case, Hurricane Karma is coming for this circus of idiots. You love to see it.

  29. Katy says:

What did Megs call them? A carnival of so called experts? Clearly she was right. But she was being far too kind. They are the very definition of toxic and vile. So hateful and dishonest.

I did see this on Twitter and it made me laugh because it’s literally what happens with an assist from the various households. The whole world sees you BM, we see you, so happy Meg and her baby and her husband are far away from those ppl.

  30. Midnight@theOasis says:

The RRs are terrified of being exposed to the entire world as what they truly…a bunch of sycophantic leeches who know nothing. They’re scared this interview will drive a stake through their poisonous hearts.

    • Edna says:

It’s like watching a shark feeding frenzy and they’re all trying to inflict as much damage as possible and rip out a pound of flesh so as not to be discredited.

  31. Mich says:

I saw a comment from a blue check on Twitter saying that he used to edit stories about the royals. Apparently, a “source close to the palace” is often another royal commentator because they all consider themselves close the palace. What a weird fantasy world they have created for themselves.

  32. Lizzie says:

Does anyone know how much these hacks were paid?

  33. TheOriginalMia says:

All these experts showing how unhinged they are in their hatred of Meghan. Creating stories and shaping the narrative against this woman. All because she dared to fall in love and marry their white ginger prince. Meghan had watched her reputation crater because these experts decided to trash her mercilessly for 4 years. They feel no shame or consternation about all they’ve done. They deserve to have their reputations trashed and I hope this video and the interview is the beginning of the end for these jackasses. On a snide and petty note, Ingrid’s face is matching the ugliness of her soul.

    • Like Scobie said in that posted Good Morning Brit segment KAISER posted Friday, the Sussexes have had to take the lies and BS for 4 years, why shouldn’t they be allowed 2 years to tell their side?

  34. Jumpingthesnark says:

Wonder what the fallout for VA will be. She works for American media outlets and has just undermined her own professional credibility.

  35. Jayna says:

Busted! Victoria is outed. All of them are despicable.

  36. Jais says:

There was a tweet this morning that GMB had their highest ratings since 2014 last week which is just…sigh. GMB last week was full of these types of Royal commentators and the hosts were just as bad with clear anti-Meghan bias. But if the network is making money will it actually change and will it even try and do better? I loved loved this vid and hope it can do something but I’m feeling cynical.
Watching those GMB hosts and commentators gleefully destroy a woman for sport and profit is just ugh…I’ve got no words.

    • Midnight@theOasis says:

I’m sad to hear about those high ratings. That means the insanity will continue unabated cause unfortunately hating M&H sells big time in the U.K.

      • Lorelei says:

I have to think that at some point, negative stories about H&M will grow old? Especially since it will only become longer and longer since they’ve even been in the UK. Even for the hardcore racists, I’d think a sort of fatigue about any one subject will get tiresome eventually? Especially when they just keep recycling the same crap over and over again (how many times do we have to hear that Kate cried? We get it!). I guess we’ll see.

      • Jais says:

@Lorelei-I hope you’re right that they’ll get tired! I’m def tired by it.
@Midnight- I saw your post lower down about Murdoch unleashing through fox and judging by page 6 articles that’s prob true. A few are neutral or kinda positive but mostly skews v negative and I think the nypost is murdoch?
Hopefully here in the us we have enough alternative coverage?
The GMB thing just annoys me bc I can see a lot of people watching that have no particular feeling about Meghan and Harry and after watching are like well if she wants privacy she should really stop talking…which is just completely false bc she never said she wanted privacy and she hasn’t actually spoken aloud in a true interview in 4 years. But there are commentaries and hosts continuing this false message and who are like she should just stop “talking!” The use of a gerund -ing with Meghan is fu**ing rich because in fact other people have been talkING about her nonstop on tv but she actually has not so how could she just stop??? Whew, working myself up.

  37. Lissdogmom02 says:

I’m not surprised but I’m glad they did this to show how truly vile they are.

  38. BeanieBean says:

I can’t watch this. Too early in the day for me to start with this racist invective. Glad the larger message is getting out there—this is indeed an ‘oppo dump’, and the larger world is coming to understand exactly how & why the worm turns.

  39. L4frimaire says:

I’m not surprised by this at all. Another royal reporter on Twitter was threatening to sue a blogger in US because she called him a racist shill and caused it to blow up with lots of snark and First amendment thrown at him. Wish I could find the tweet, but someone mentioned after this that he was surprised someone called herself a royal expert just because she gave Charles a BJ at a party in the 70s. OMG, all sorts of stuff will be coming out.

    • Nic919 says:

The tweets are with Palmolive (his real name is listed above) along with popehat and Nick Martin. It was a beautiful thread to read.

    • Where'sMyTiara says:

Now I’m dying to know which rota rat it was that gave Chaz the BJ – Penny, or Ingrid?

  40. aquarius64 says:

These dummies that are threatening to sue for libel…they do know they have to prove what was said is not true in a US court? The RR hacks are panicking their horrible bosses will fire them for hurting the bottom line.

  41. Belly says:

    Oh. Oh my.

    This is GLORIOUS!!

Seeing these a$$holes falling over themselves to stick the boot in, tripping themselves up and falling face first into a cowpat, just effing glorious.

The murdoch press in Australia is currently over-run with anti-Meghan stories, blowing smoke up Willnot and Cannot’s backsides, leaving absolutely zero doubt where the ‘leaks’ are coming from.

Seriously, can’t they afford competent PR staff?

    • Midnight@theOasis says:

I’m afraid that Murdoch will unleash the dogs of hell on H&M in the U.S. as well. I’m sure Fox News is gearing up for an all out assault.

      • Shoshone says:

I believe you are right about FOX here in the US. They had slipped to 3rd in the overall ratings plus they have slipped even lower in the prime, younger viewer demographics. This has impacted their advertising revenue.

Murdoch and FOX will do anything that they can get away with to turn this around. Bashing H&M probably looks pretty tempting to them right now. Remember how Trump told everyone that we were gonna be such big winners? Well Trump definitely is a loser and now (at least temporarily) so is FOX.

  42. Rae S-L says:

I can’t wait to watch the interview. Unfortunately being in the UK means I have to wait until 9pm GMT / 4pm EST to watch. I saw the YouTube clip last night and just can’t beleive how people can have such a collectively psychotic and unhinged hatred for Meghan. The fact that they can lie like they breath shows they have no souls. In addition, I heard a few seconds of the queen’s commonwealth speech, when I put on the TV, and her voice sounded quite flat, and I doubt it had anything to do with her husband’s health, but fear of what will be said, as she knows what she, her family and courtiers did to Meghan and Harry, and didn’t do to protect them. Her words stressing importance of friendship and unity was passive aggression and gaslighting at its finest.

  43. lanne says:

I think the tabloids are egging on another lawsuit from Meghan. Meghan content is good for business after all, and their spigot of information is about to be turned off. I think this is their way of trying to force engagement with them. I hope the Sussexes ignore them. One of the reasons they were so pissed about the Sussex Netflix deals is that they planned to drag the legal proceeding past what Meghan and Harry could financially bear. Thus causing them to return.

After everything that happened this week, the world now sees the British media and the royal family for who they really are. This ridiculous response pretty much assures that the Sussexes never return to the UK to work or to live. When they return, they will stay in secret locations, and will be in and out before anyone knows. I’m not sure that they hould even return for things like the Diana statue dedication: they could even say that the media has made their presence untenable and it would distract from the event to have them present (which would be fodder for discussion as well)

Im curious which celebrities will want to attach their brand to the royal family in the future. I think we’ll see fewer and fewer celebrities associated with RF plans, and many fewer foreign royal tours. I don’t imagine any royals will be coming to the US for years to come. My guess is they will stick to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Malta, and that they will visit the EU countries.

    • Amy Too says:

I want to see how will and Kate are received at the BAFTAs next time. They had a pretty icy reception last time and they’ve done absolutely nothing but escalate their horrific racist and sexist behavior since then.

      • Greywacke says:

I wish British actors would come out in support of Meghan. The fact they haven’t is super disappointing.

      • Sid says:

Most of them won’t say anything Grey, because they don’t want lose a chance at getting awarded an OBE or MBE from the royals.

      • notasugarhere says:

I’m hoping multiple productions from Harry and Meghan end up nominated/winning BAFTAs.

    • Jaded says:

Hardly anyone in Canada wants those lazy f*ckers to come back here, that’s for sure.

      • Coo Coo Catchoo says:

@Jaded, wait – are you calling the Sussexes lazy?

      • Hell Nah! says:

@Coo Coo Catchoo – I believe Jaded is referring to the laziest lazes that ever lazed – the lazyass Cambridges.

  44. MA says:

Just proves that there’s nothing Meghan could’ve ever done to be accepted. They had their preset views and biases about her and always moved the bar higher when she exceeded it. 10x as hard for 1/2 the praise. Educated, articulate, successful, rich, but always seen as a ghetto gold digging social climber.

  45. Shoshone says:

I went to You Tube and watched the video. Knowing that the “Royal Commentators” were making it all up while lying and slamming Harry and Meghan was hilarious. What a bunch of scammers and toadies. I had to leave the video a big up vote. Hope that more people watch it and up vote because they were only at a little over 1/2 million views.

  46. Happy_fat_mama says:

“She’s the kind of woman who wants to have her say.”… LOL HAHAHA. yes! Meghan Markle wants to have her say and that’s why we like her, and that’s why we want to hear all that she has to say. I hope someday someone says that about me; what a compliment!

    • Keri says:

Hahahaha! I loved the pause that she made at “She’s the kind of woman who…” You just know she was about to say something vile and checked herself at the last minute. And the best insult she could come up with is that Meghan is not a doormat who stands up for herself.

I am enjoying their humiliation. They wouldn’t have cared if this came out among their peers in the UK, but internationally, they are jokes and I’m loving it.

  47. MJM says:

I have mad respect for Harry and Meghan not wanting to work with these sociopathic charlatans.

  48. Donna B. says:

I saw that too. And one of them works for CNN, i.e. a Royal Reporter-Victoria Aribiter. They all got paid too. CNN needed to know the type of so-called “journalists” have working for them.

  49. Coo Coo Catchoo says:

Ingrid Seward LOL 🤣 That witch is wayyyy past her prime and so freaking jealous

  50. Jo73c says:

These ‘journalists’ will face precisely no consequences. Tabloid journalism in the UK is almost never fact-based. Its purpose is not to provide news, its purpose is to tell the wilfully ignorant what to be outraged about next.

    • Where'sMyTiara says:

Piers Morgan was fired from ITV’s GMB today, for calling Meghan a liar about feeling suicidal!

Who’s next on the tabloid journo Arya list?
