Mortar hits western Negev; no injuries

A mortar fired from Gaza about an hour ago landed in an open area near a kibbutz in the Sha'ar HeNegev Regional Council on Saturday. No injuries or damage were reported.

An explosion was heard in the region, however the Color Red alert system failed to activate. The exact location of the hit has yet to be traced. (Ilana Curiel)
