tulips_yelloworangeThe month of April is Zoo Blooms at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Cincinnati, Ohio. The zoo will be transformed with more than 93,000 tulips — one of the largest tulip displays in the Midwest (the zoo is one of two accredited botanical gardens in Ohio). “Tulip Mania” will also feature more than one million daffodils, hyacinths, flowering trees, shrubs and other spring bulbs.

In early April, look for bright yellow and white daffodils blooming throughout the park. Many varieties of red and yellow tulips are the first to bloom followed by the main bloom in mid-April. Complementing the blooming bulbs are thousands of blooming trees and shrubs.
