Dan Kim has been appointed vice president for marketing and communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden.
He starts his new position in July.
President Judy Olian said Kim will work to extend the university’s national and global stature.
“Dan comes to Quinnipiac with extensive experience in marketing, communications and social media, and as a senior member of the leadership teams of significant higher education institutions,” Olian said.
Kim will oversee the university’s office of Marketing and Communications, including the Quinnipiac University Poll and the new Center for Survey Insights. He will also serve on the university’s Management Committee.
“Quinnipiac University is clearly on an exciting, upward trajectory – and I am very pleased to be joining the team,” Kim said.
Kim is currently senior vice president for communications, marketing and external relations at Brandeis University, where he has led the communications strategy since 2019. He previously had similar roles at the College of the Holy Cross, University of Michigan College of Engineering and West Virginia University.
