Shanghai February New Home Sales Fall 83%, Uwin Says

New home sales in Shanghai fell 83 percent to 178,000 square meters in February from January, property consultant Shanghai UWin Real Estate Information Services Co. said in an e-mailed statement today.

February new home sales were the lowest for any month since 2006, the statement said. The city’s average new home price fell 10 percent in February from January to 20,625 yuan a square meter, the real estate data company said.
