Parents of executed Scots aid worker demand answers over failed rescue bid

Following the murder of Scottish aid worker Linda Norgrove (see WVoN), find stuff a family friend said last night that the Norgroves were pressing to know all the facts behind the tragedy.

A close friend said they would not be saying much until they had all the facts .

He added: “They want to know exactly what happened, online doctor not just during the attempted rescue, pill but in the whole period she was captured.”

“Naturally they have their own questions.”

Norgrove, from near Uig on Lewis, was held captive for two weeks after being seized as she travelled as part of a convoy in the Kunar province of Afghanistan.

Her captors are thought to have forced her to put on a bomb-packed suicide vest which was detonated when US forces came within minutes of rescuing her on Friday night.
