Literary Death Match returns to Melbourne for what will be forever known as "The Greatest Literary Night of 2024." To make it so, we'll be delivering Melbourne's third-ever event at Fringe Common Rooms at Trades Hall THEN following it up with a dance party with music from DJ William Shakespeare (just kidding, DJ is still TBA).

Melbourne, Ep. 2

9 April, 2024 — In what can only be described as an instant classic, Literary Death Match returned to Melbourne (and more specifically fortyfivedownstairs) with an eye-popping lineup and the generous support of the City of Melbourne Arts Grants, for a night that saw Thabani Tshuma narrowly outduel co-finalist Candy Bowers in a down-to-the-wire Literary Spelling Bee winning Tshuma the LDM Melbourne, Ep. 2 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.

Boston, Ep. 17

November 15, 2023 — After five years away, Literary Death Match returned to Boston — or, really, Cambridge — for a wondrous affair at The Brattle that saw Desmond Hall outlast co-finalist E.B. Bartels in a down-to-the-wire Arithme-Lit finale that won Hall the LDM Boston, Ep. 17 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.
