Now that spring has sprung, get in the car and cruise out to Westwood for Chiara‘s next Wednesday Night Wine Tasting on Wednesday, March 31st. This time around they’ll be examining the chardonnay grape from a whole new angle comparing bottles from California, Oregon and France – specifically, 2007 William Hill, Napa Valley, California, 2006 Domaine Drouhin, Arthur Chardonnay, Dundee Hills, Oregon and 2004 Domaine Henri Boillot, Meursault 1er Cru Les Poruzots, France. Chef-owner Steve LaCount and chef Bret Pelaggi will send out a few complimentary hors d’oeuvres to pair with the wines and to tempt you into sticking around for dinner (the tasting is free so there’s still room in the budget for a bite to eat).
