I ran into a garden house on the side of the road. I sat quietly behind some trees.

 A few shots came from a distance. After sitting for a while, when the situation calmed down, I quietly left the garden house.

 Then I went to Rahmat uncle. Rahmat uncle and everyone else looked at me in surprise.

  Uncle Rahmat said, "Then you have killed Kutubaddi."

 Sajeed said, "We also thought you would be caught in the hands of the Razakars with weapons."

 I said, "I saw Kutubbadi in front of me to shoot and kill people. So I killed him. If Kutubaddi had not killed those four, I would not have killed Kutubaddi. And he is one of the commanders of the Razakars. That is why I killed Kutubaddi."

 The informer boy said, "Brother, you are a true patriot. Join us in the liberation war."

 Uncle Rahmat said, "You have become a close person to us by killing the regional assistant commander of the Razakars. Now participate in the liberation war and become the assistant commander of our freedom fighters." Saying this, the commander of the war of liberation, Rahmat uncle gave to me his hand to handshake his hand.

দৌড়াতে দৌড়াতে সড়কের পাশের একটা বাগানবাড়ির ভিতরে ঢোকে পড়লাম। কয়েকটা গাছের আড়ালে চুপ করে বসে রইলাম।

দূর থেকে কয়েকটা গুলির আওয়াজ এল। অনেক্ষণ বসে থাকার পর যখন পরিস্থিতি নীরব হল, তখন আমি চোপ করে আস্তে আস্তে বাগানবাড়ি থেকে বের হলাম।

এরপর চলে এলাম রহমত চাচার কাছে। রহমত চাচাসহ অন্যরা সকলেই আমার দিকে অবাক হয়ে তাকিয়ে রইল।

 রহমত চাচা বললেন, " তাহলে তুমি কুতুবদ্দিকে খুন করতে পেরেছ।"

সাজেদ বলল, " আমরা আরো ভেবেছিলাম তুমি অস্ত্রসহ রাজাকারদের হাতে ধরা পড়বে। "

আমি বললাম, " আমার সামনে কুতুবদ্দিকে দেখেছি গুলি করে মানুষ খুন করতে। তাই তাকে আমি খুন করেছি। কুতুবদ্দি যদি ঐ চারজনকে খুন না করত, তাহলে আমিও কুতুবদ্দিকে খুন করতামনা। এবং সে রাজাকারদের অন্যতম কমান্ডার। এই কারণেই কুতুবদ্দিকে আমি খুন করেছি। "

ইনফর্মার ছেলেটা বলল, " ভাইয়া, আপনি একজন সাচ্চা দেশপ্রেমিক। আপনি আমাদের সঙ্গে মুক্তিযুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণ করুন। "

রহমত চাচা বললেন, " রাজাকারের আঞ্চলিক সহকারী কমান্ডারকে তুমি খুন করে আমাদের কাছের মানুষ হয়েছ। এবার মুক্তিযুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণ করে আমাদের মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের সহকারী কমান্ডার হও। " এই কথা বলে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের কমান্ডার রহমত চাচা আমার সঙ্গে হাত মেলাতে হাত এগিয়ে দিলেন।

আমিও তখন রহমত চাচার সঙ্গে হাত মিলিয়ে বললাম, " আমিও মুক্তিযুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণ করলাম। " (সমাপ্ত) ©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
