For ardent cyclists who hate to be parted from their steeds -- or just folks who want to get some exercise during the workday -- the Kickstand desk offers a solution. You just set your bike in a stationary trainer (you supply the trainer), adjust the desk height, and pedal away.
The 60-by-30-inch desktop adjusts in height by 6 inches and also slides away to make it easy to get on and off your bike. The desktop comes in recycled maple or tempered glass, and it's supported by "industrial-strength sliders" so it won't wobble, the company says.
The frame is hand-welded 2-inch-square steel tube. The finish can be raw steel, brushed or custom. The $1,499 price includes free ground shipping in the U.S.
A Wired review called the Kickstand "less goofy than a treadmill desk" -- though runners might disagree.
