The 10 Commandments of Online Spiritual Dating

So…you have taken the first step and have entered the world of online Spiritual Dating. While everybody’s experiences are different, if you keep the 10 Commandments in mind, you won’t be led off the path to find your Divine Counterpart.

Rules for Online Spiritual and Conscious Dating

I – Who you are inside and how you perceive life and relationships are the main points that will matter in your search for your other half. The exterior suit a Soul wears (body type, profession, etc.) is superficial and is not the source of future happiness.

II – You shall not call the name of your ex-partner in vain. Try to avoid it in conversations, especially when you are just starting to get to know someone that you are interested in. It will appear that you are still hanging onto the old relationship and that you may be unprepared to start a new one and may scare off someone that is starting to be interested in you.

III – Do not keep multiple accounts on different dating sites. Besides being confusing, it can damage your image and credibility in the dating universe in the long run. We like to refer to this one as “Thou shall have no dating site but ours”…

IV – You shall not build for yourself a false persona. Misrepresentation and “role-playing” are not practices allowed for the mature Spiritual Being. You are an Essence of God in the way of individual perfection. You are who you are, and that is beautiful.

V – Online dating and relationships can be time-consuming. They may complement your lifestyle, but they should never replace the relationships you have offline. Commit to being in touch with the outside world at least once a week. Take one day to rest from the computer.

VI – You shall not take away the hopes of someone who is trying to find their match. We do not read hearts, so we can never fully understand the longing of someone for finding their divine match. Destiny and “All That Is” always operate in mysterious ways. This is the truth, even if it is not clear to you.

VII – You shall not steal. In relation to online Spiritual Dating, this means you should not waste the time of others by feeding false hopes to someone that you are not really interested in. This is a trap of the ego. There is always the alternative to keeping a relationship strictly friendly if the romantic aspect is not awakening for both.

VIII – You shall not engage in any type of gossiping or defamation practices while on any dating site. Recognize that the people that are participating are genuinely trying to find their Soulmates and, inevitably, there are always other factors than what the eyes perceive. Some Soul relationships are Karmic ones.

IX – Once you enter online Spiritual Dating, be aware that you may not find your dream partner right away. You will attract what you send out. Once you start activating the resonance between Souls, the pursuit will become easier. Delays may not be anyone’s fault. Your Soulmate may need to be first connected at an energetic level before they become aware that you are looking for them. Be patient, and do not give up Hope.

X – Always keep a sunny disposition and practice the sacred art of not being offended. There are many Spiritual Paths and many souls who live their lives differently. Remember always to be kind because everyone on this planet, at this moment, is fighting their own battles. Also, remember IX – you attract the energy that you send out.

The Spiritual Path is more than one’s personal view of the Divine or living a more conscious and self-actualized lifestyle. It is about Connecting Hearts at a Soul Level to ascend into a new era of Peace and Harmonious Living.
