Looking for Web Project Manager and Consulting for website design and development as well as software integration. Modern Life is a small Los Angeles based Real Estate Development and Hospitality Company that aims to do work that is being remembered. Our projects are local and international and our focus is on Design and Sustainability. This will not be a full time job for you. After the initial conceptual phase your job will mainly consist on checking the work done by stages, managing the team and reporting it all to us. The Project should start as soon as possible and should be completed by the end of May 2012. If the cooperation is successful another web project is already waiting. You will be paid per project. For this first project we are able to pay you around 400USD. Requirements: You must have done something similar before. Please show portfolio and references related to the areas mentioned in this job ad. Be honest and identify your weak spots. If you can’t show that you have sufficient experience in one area please explain your knowledge level in detail or take concrete steps to demonstrate your willingness and plan in detail to make yourself familiar with the subject. Since we will be communicating a lot you must be reliable, responsive, have excellent communication skills verbally as well as through written conversations. You must be using MS-Excel or project management software with ease. You will have to provide us with written memos about every step you take during the project. You have perfect web professional language skills in speaking and writing English (can alternatively also be German). You know the latest web and technology trends, you are very familiar with the iPad and also other mobile device interfaces. You are following web design awards and more generally are interested in the best and latest user interface design. Here is what we think the work will look like: Interview us, discuss and understand the functionality of the website that we want to build. Evaluate the existing sources and possible constraints like industry software that we use in the office ([login to view URL]) existing image and copy text material as well as other places on the web that might need to be integrated. Evaluate and structure the needs for different platforms, software and server technology. Create a detailed job description for the entire production process of the website for freelancer.com. Define project milestones. Assist in choosing the best freelancer for the job. Represent the employer during the work. Be a moderator between the employer and the freelancer. Guide and supervise the freelancer through this project. Make sure the financial budget and deadlines are being followed. Verify progress, functionality, quality and milestones of the freelancer’s work. The project: The website will showcase different rental properties and enable the user to check availability, pricing and make a qualified reservation request. The project will have to include: State of the art, visual compelling and stylish user interface. State of the art full frame image and slide show presentation State of the art calendar integration State of the art web form integration State of the art social media integration Establish multiple platform functionality for smart phone, tablet and laptop. Prepare for online payment interface integration. Prepare for the integration of user accounts, other web based databases i.e. using MySQL PHP Apache. Discuss abstaining from Adobe Flash, using CSS3-HTML5, AJAX, screen resolution and platform optimized visuals.
