Multi Cat and The litter box

For cat lovers it is fun to have more then one cat. I know since i have 3 of mine and another one that i am fostering. Cats make you laugh, announcing enjoyment with load purring, i love their curiosity, but i don't like their litter box.

With four kitties - or even two, you need to clean it often, and the litter is all over the house.

One day when i was in store i got an idea. Bought a medium size plastic box with cover and opened a "window" on one side, fill it with the these tiny litter stones and VOIALA, Big covered litter box for less then $7.

Now the kitties enter from the opening i created, do their thing and leave it when most litter stays in and we have no smell at all. It is big enough that it happens that there are two of them in LOL I fill it with enough litter so i only need to clean the top layer for long time and no need to carry the heavy package for refill the box every few days.

It stands under a big window and they seat on top to look out - a positive Side effect

If you do not like the looks of the box you can choose other color or do some art work yourself. Other option is buying a nice decorative cat litter box cover comes in dark or natural colors.
