VERY URGENT: Need nodejs expert to help on bug/issue

Hello Bidders, We have a nodejs application that uses [login to view URL] 0.8.5 to communicate with the front end. I've attached some relevant code from the scripts. The websocket connection initiates correctly, most of the time, the data is sent correctly. But occasionally, the websocket data will have weird characters.
