Developing a Dynamic Website

I am working on creating an interactive, dynamic web site. I have little problem doing the html-side of things, but i know very little about PHP/Javascript and i know these are crucial areas of dynamic web page design. I have a web site in mind that I would like to base my own site off of, so I really just need someone(s) who are willing to collaborate with me to make this my group's own little "project." Money is limited, so this is more suited to someone who looks at this as a fun challenge more than as a source of income. Thanks!
