A good way to transform fresh herbs from your garden into sweet gifts is to infuse a pot of ordinary honey with their flavor and aroma.
Simply push two or three sprigs of fresh herbs into the syrup. Lavender, rosemary, thyme and sage are all delicious and fragrant options.
Allow herbs to steep for at least five days for maximum intensity, before using as you would plain honey.
For the prettiest gift, transfer store-bought honey into a mason jar before adding herbs.
