The use of cloud recruitment is on the up, according to cloud recruitment firm Resource on Demand (ROD).

The firm says it has seen year-on-year cloud recruitment figures increase by 52.9%.  

ROD operations director, Theresa Durrant, says: “These figures are proof that cloud firms are continuing to grow and invest in their workforces. This growth is in stark contrast to the public sector, which is sadly being chastened by government job cuts and stringent budget measures, with UK unemployment rising to over 2.5m as a result.

“We have seen a renewed confidence in the hiring of cloud professionals and the number of clients opening their doors to us. The buoyancy of the cloud ecosystem shows no sign of letting up and is an encouraging sign for the UK economy.”
