is ModCloth Canadian??? The dress that I liked cost as much as the shipping costs…

  2. itsjustmebub says:

no they are US based, however many Canadians (even from this site) order from them
when the dresses are so cheap it’s probably worth getting a few so that the S&H price doesn’t seem as much as the dress lol.

I love them bc they are things that you wouldn’t find here in stores

http://smartcanucks.ca/modclothcom-cozy-up-sale-up-to-50-off/ … that was the previous modcloth offer, some of the discussion there MAY help

No extra duties and taxes, that’s why the shipping is so expensive, they ship with UPS but using a special international shipping service so that UPS will not charge brokerage fees or anything. They also charge Canadian taxes too so no skimping out on that. This just means there are no surprise fees as you pay it all upfront.

Just checked out the site, for most of the articles of clothing I looked at people were giving horrible reviews about fit. If you can’t try it on and can’t return it, it’s not worth the cheap price + SH.
