upgrade joomla site to 1.6

Adjusted as per our discussions Hi there as a professional development house based in the UK we offer a very high level of service with a number of very large clients to our name. We are new to Freelancer and are bidding as such to get a feel for what freelancer has to offer and to establish our names here as a reputable service provider. We have been working with Joomla for 6 years now and have reached a very high competency level and have recently converted a number of sites through to 1.6 to ensure the new sites work well. The best approach to this is to take it into its component parts and rebuild the install of Joomla with your components installed, check dbase configuration to ensure date is ported correctly and displayed correctly. The biggest change of all is in the template used as this needs to be provisioned in the 1.6 format and move from 1.5 which as you have realised will impact menu structures etc. As a professional development house all of our work is guaranteed and insured and as such we hope we can offer you a high level of service. We would expect such a task to take about 2 days your time for deliver including testing etc on our test servers so you can see the changes and make sure you are happy with it.
