Update: From today on regular commercial flights are permitted again to land at the Port-au-Prince's Toussaint Louverture International airport. The first routine flight since 12 January 2010 landed this morning.

U.S. embassy officials said the resumption of normal commercial air traffic between the United States and Haiti meant that civilian evacuations from Haiti by U.S. military flights would be phased out, except for emergency cases. (Reuters)
