THQ Announce Big Beach Sports 2 For The Nintendo Wii

THQ Have announced Big Beach Sports 2 for the Nintendo Wii, a sequel to the 2008 Nintendo Wii hit Big Beach Sports. Big Beach Sports 2 is currently set for a summer release and will feature 5 new outdoor games. Some traditional sports in the game are rugby, cricket, disk golf and football. there are also some competitions including surfing, canoe, water rocket and dune buggy races. The Game has both single player and multiplayer game modes and the game supports Wii Balance Board.

WOKING, UK - April 1, 2010 – THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced that Big Beach Sports™ 2™, the follow-up to the popular 2008 summer hit title, Big Beach Sports™, is currently in development exclusively for Wii™ and is scheduled for release this summer.

Big Beach Sports 2™ returns with five entirely new entertaining and energetic outdoor game offerings, including more traditional sports such as rugby, cricket, disk golf and football. Players are also invited to participate in competitions featuring surfing, canoe, water rocket and dune buggy races in either single player mode or through multiplayer challenges, going head to head with up to four players. Additionally, players can use the Wii Balance Board™ to ride the waves for a full body surfing experience.
