6 Types of Personalities
Tweet |
Real estate is all about people and helping people (as it is with any career). There are all kinds of people that a real estate professional can work with.
There are short people and tall people, young people and old people, skinny people and not so skinny people (is that politically correct to say?), people with tatooes and people without tattooes, people who wear rings on their fingers and people who wear rings on their toes (do you know anyone who does?). There are just so many different people.
And then there are just so many different types of personalities that people can have.
One way of classifying personalities is through the use of the characters of Winnie the Pooh. Whether you've done it before or not, it's kind of fun to find out which character you're most like and to think about the people you know, work with and/or serve in similar fashion.
Off the top of my head I've come up with the personality profiles of Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl and Pooh below (with a quote from each) to help you get a quick read on yourself. Then you can take the test like I did (click here: 100 Acre Personality Quiz) to see if you were right. (Those of you that know me, can you guess which personality type I am?)
I hope you all enjoy the...
Six Types of Personalities:
1. Tigger: loud, life-of-the-party, overboard. "I didn't really bounce Eeyore. I had a cough, and I happened to be behind Eeyore, and I said 'Grrrr-oppp-ptschschschz.'"
2. Eeyore: glum, sky-is-falling, steady. "After all, what are birthdays? Here today and gone tomorrow."
3. Rabbit: task-oriented, worker, irritable (is bugged by Tigger). "'Pooh,' said Rabbit kindly, 'you haven't any brain.'I know,' said Pooh humbly."
4. Piglet: scared of his own shadow, loyal. "It is awfully hard to be b-b-brave," said Piglet, "when you are only a Very Small Animal."
5. Owl: knowledgeable, has answers, know-it-all. "This is just a mild spring zephyr compared to the big wind of '67. Or was it, uh, '76? Oh, well, no matter. Oh, I remember the big blow well."
6. Pooh Bear: easy-going, gets along with everyone. "If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you."
