The writing was good and the plot was ok. Hero slept with his friend with benefits club whore after being interested in heroine that scene was explicit and I hated it. Lunar (club whore) also helps him to bed one night when he is drunk and even though they didn't have sex he can't help staring at her breasts or getting turned on when she touches him. He became better in the story by not feeling anything for her sexually but it was way too late I had those scenes in my head and it wouldn't go away thus 2 * only because of the writing.

One of my go to authors of 2015 has kicked this new year of with bang and taken a foray into one of my favourite genres…an MC novel!
I was super excited to get my teeth into this as if the previous works have been anything to go by this was a hands down winner…and I was not disappointed, Ms Osborn I doff my hat to you, you hit the ground running with this and now that the motor is revving I can’t wait to see what you have in store next.
This is Willow and Steel’s story and if ever there was a case of opposite attract then it is this pair, they are as far apart on the spectrum as you could possibly imagine…or are they?
Willow was her mother’s perfect child, the obedient little girl that toe the line but she is no little girl anymore and she is ready to cut loose, to live a little and to find out for herself all about the things her mamma thought she never needed to know.
Especially what it is like to be the bad girl for once!!!
And finding just the sort of man that her mother wouldn’t want to see walking up the path is going to prove a little easier than she had imagined, especially when her nice ordered life is intersected by the world that is Steel and the Satan’s Savages MC.
Steel has lived and breathed the MC his entire life, he has learnt the ropes at eth knee of its president, his father but that doesn’t mean that he wouldn’t give his right arm to know what life minus the violence would be like. Life in the club is harsh and hard but with no other point of reference, Steel can only imagine what else he could have had.
But when he and Willow meet, the instant attraction may just answer both their questions. Because for Willow he is the man she has been searching for and for Steel, Willow is his peek into the world he was born to be denied.
Being together is a path down which they will need to tread very carefully as it is littered with both danger and deceit. They face trouble from every quarter and unfortunately it some of it is directed from the men that Steel call bothers.
The story is one that doesn’t hold back, but that is to be expected by this author, she leaves no stone unturned in her pursuit of excellence and this is just that…excellent!

Well Willow is done listening to her mother. She wants to know what it is like to be with a bad boy and she is about to find out.
Steel has only ever known the life of a biker. His father is the president of the Satan’s Savages MC; it’s in his blood. An MC is not a place for the faint of heart: drugs and violence are an everyday thing in this world.
A chance meeting has Willow and Steel’s worlds colliding. Willow has found a bad boy she wants to take a chance with and Steel has found someone who has made him want something different.
Their attraction is strong and their sexual chemistry is off the charts. No matter how much they care for each other, Steel’s world is extremely dangerous. Danger is coming from all around them including the Satan Savages.
Being in the wrong place at the wrong time has put their lives in jeopardy.
K.E. Osborn has blown me away with her first MC novel. She has excelled in the Rock Star world but now she has written a perfect MC book.
This book was sexy, gritty, and full of suspense; I could not put it down. I loved Willow and Steel.
I absolutely loved this book and definitely recommend it. I cannot wait for book 2!!!!

If you are a fan of MC Romance than you will love this book! K.E. Osborn did an amazing job with this book and I will definitely be checking more of her books out. This was my first and I am so glad that I chose to read this book. The story line was not like a lot of other MC books that I've read.
I loved the main characters in this book. You have Steel who is the bad boy biker that has grown up in the MC. He finds a side of himself that he never thought he'd see when he meets Willow. He fights it at first knowing that she isn't cut out for the MC life but he can't get her out of his head and decides she's worth the pain he'll eventually feel once she wisens up and leaves. Willow is the good girl Kindergarten teacher. She is drawn to Steel unlike any other man she has met. When she is with Steel she finally feels alive but will she be able to hack the MC life?
You will not only love the main characters in this book but you will love the secondary characters as well. K.E.'s story will have you invested in not only Steel and Willow's story but needing everyone else's as well. Hard ass biker meets kindergarten teacher and sparks fly!!
Two people from two completely different worlds are drawn to each other and when they get together it's explosive.
She's not a meek little teacher though her background would lead you to believe so, she's a sassy match for the cocky biker.
Steel on the other hand is used to club life, not exactly looking for anything more until the cute little redhead with a mouth that won't quit gets into his head an he can't get her out.
Heart of Steel walks us through the differences in their lives and what they go through to make it work.
Loved Willow to death, she's strong, not a whiny little heroine that makes me want to gag rather than turn the page, and Steel, sexy and dominant, protective an has a heart of gold. Their story is well written, kept me engaged from beginning to end. Read this one in one day, I just could not put it down!

Steel is a member of the Satan's Savages MC, he is a man whose loyalty is to his club. When he meets Willow, a teacher who is stunning to look at, he goes against the grain and asks her out. He knows she is complete opposite of who he is and as they begin to explore what is developing between them Steel finds himself being torn between the club and the woman who he doesn't want to give up.
This one was a surprise to me, I was shocked by how this one turned out and not sure how I felt about it. I am curious about the books in the series so probably would try the next one.

I have been given this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
From the start of the book I have loved Steel and Flame. Steel is a biker who is loving his life, things didn't go as planned but his club is his home, his brothers his family, until a preschool teacher changes everything he was content with. Flame is a teacher who grew being forced to be a 'good girl' finally get the adventure she wanted, she doesn't realise how much her life is about to change.
The characters in this book are eccentric and you can't help liking them for their quirks. The relationships between Steel and Flame is hilarious and between Steel and his brothers perfection. The book flowed through the story and I struggled to put it down so I could do some work. The writing style is colloquial but easy to follow, there is a little helpful explanation of some of the slang words so you can stay on track. The dynamics between different gangs and the bikers involvement in the wider world just slots into place creating a picture of how things work in that world.
Be warned the ending is a bit of a cliff hanger, but completely worth the read.
Only down side to this book is that I have to wait so long for the next instalment. I am dying to see how Satan Savages mend and how Steel and Flame's relationship continues.
I don't really like the neatly wrapped HEA and I loved the continuous twists in this one.

This book starts out with a great little blurb by Steel, introducing himself to us and Willow introducing herself to us. I love the fact that KE Osbourne has given us a little note about the writing style of the book as well as a dictionary to help us understand some of the slang we will be seeing in the book in case we're not familiar with the terminology. Thank you KE Osbourne for that! This book was your typical rough and tumble, fighting and protecting book, with one of the bad boys of the MC falling in love with an outsider. HOWEVER, the level of things in this book, I do not remember having seen them like this before. The losses, the wars, the love, the pain and suffering that comes with love and loss and finding things again. Desires, hope, etc. are all in this book, and the pure bad@$$ bad boys are also there. This book leaves you on one heck of a cliff hanger. One that I just did NOT see coming. Read the book, enjoy it, and wait for book two to see what happens with Willow and Steel after they have to take off. Wait until you see why they do. Wow.

This book was fantastic! It has everything I look for in an awesome MC romance. It has dirty talking, alpha bikers, club drama, clubwh*res causing drama, and the bonus off-his-rocker biker. This book had me hooked from the very first paragraph. This book is also loaded with humor. I want a Petunia! Steel is a very tough character. But he also has a soft side that makes you instantly fall in love with him. Willow starts off as a goody too shoes. But I love when the female lead shows you her “dark side”. She is funny, sassy, and full of surprises. The chemistry between Steel and Willow is HOT, HOT, HOT. There were several of the secondary bikers that I got attached to and hope that they will get their own story as well. This story will have you on the edge of your seat by the end and will leave you wanting more! The story takes a turn at the end that will leave you thinking WTF just happened? Very excited for the next book as I HAVE to know what happens!

I was given this book as an ARC copy from the author. K E Osborn normally writes great stories and this is no exception. Only this time she decided to change direction and write a series about an MC club.
This series has a whole new set of great characters and I am sure when you read it you will love them.
This is the first book in the series and starts off with Steel and Willow. Steel is the VP of the club. He meets Willow and she is from a different world but she is looking for something different in her boring old life. When she meets Steel her world is turned upside down. Can you accept him and the life he leads. (We will have to see).
We meet a whole lots of different character in this first book that will appear in future books in this series.
This book is written in true K E Osborn fashion. Wonderful characters and true feeling of how they feel and how you feel for them.

The last couple of books by K.E. Osborn haven't left me hanging, so I had forgotten her diabolically evil genius at doing so. But it's safe to say that the queen of mean cliff hangers is back stronger than ever. She was one of the very first authors on the list trying to kill me, but her writing is amazing, that I simply cannot give up reading her books as soon as they come out. In case no one has guessed yet, I LOVED LOVED LOVED Heart of Steel.
Steel is a biker in the Savages MC. A Marauder Japanese Steel Knife is his weapon of choice, and it brings out fear in enemies. He's never had any desire to have a relationship with anyone, but things changed suddenly when he rescues a child in the road from getting run over. Willow is a kindergarten teacher, who shakes Steel's whole world up. She isn't meant for his world, but he can't stay away from her, and it doesn't help that she feels the strong connection they have, so she won't walk away either. Will Willow be able to accept Steel for who he is, or will she walk away, missing her chance at something worth the risk?!
WOW WOW WOW! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this author's rockers, but she took it to a new level with bikers. The character development is spot on perfect, with secondaries that I would love to see have their own stories. An action packed, fast paced, and very well written story line flows effortlessly. K.E. Osborn's brilliant writing style has, once again, held me hostage cover to cover, while keeping my heart racing. Heart of Steel showcases her extremely talented writing style on new levels. Well placed humor had me rolling in laughter, and the suspense is very intense. The chemistry flew out of my kindle, leading to SCORCHIN' HOT sexy scene goodness that's capable of causing severe hot flashes. The cliff hanger ending had me calling the author bad names, as she's trying to kill me. And to be honest, the whole series can't come quickly enough to feed my addiction, as this author will always be my kindle crack. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Having a club girl who is the closest thing to his girlfriend that he is willing to get, he believes he is going places. And it now appears that they may be at the beginning of a war if his father the Pres can't come to an arrangement with the street gang that the club mule’s drugs for.
Willow is a teacher working at a daycare when she agrees to a date, with a biker she meets on a Christmas charity run.
She agrees to a date with him as a thank you for saving a child (Jackson is a very cute character.) daycare from being hit by a car. She is willing to take a walk on the wild side, and in this case she may get more than she bargains for.
Now involved with Steel, can she withstand the biker lifestyle, the crude family Steel cannot live without and the danger she may unknowingly be in.
With thoroughly steamy, erotic love scenes and dirty a dominant biker in her life, is he worth it?
Can Steel keep her safe and happy while he lives his biker life?
I am a big fan of this genre, so by looking at the cover I thought the book would be a gritty home run.
I didn't find it gritty at all, I found a classic girl meets bad boy.
This authors characters were strange and quirky and I liked that about the novel very much. Although I didn't find much originality the novel was a well written in a classic style. There were some very funny scenes like when Steel is caught at the park spying on Willow and at the bar when Fim dumps beer on Doug's head. I absolutely don't feel like I wasted my time, just wish it was a more creative. I think if you’re going to write this genre you have to do something that separates you from the whole because, there are so many novels written about the same thing.

I am a big fan of this genre, so by looking at the cover I thought the book would be a gritty home run.
I didn't find it gritty at all, I found a classic girl meets bad boy.
This authors characters were strange and quirky and I liked that about the novel very much. Although I didn't find much originality the novel was a well written in a classic style. There were some very funny scenes like when Steel is caught at the park spying on Willow and at the bar when Fim dumps beer on Doug's head. I absolutely don't feel like I wasted my time, just wish it was a more creative. I think if you’re going to write this genre you have to do something that separates you from the whole because, there are so many novels written about the same thing.

I'm really not much of a fan of MC books but K.E Osborn has made me change my opinion. HEART OF STEEL is amazing. It's gritty,suspenseful,funny and hot. I found it very easy to "get into" and it was hard to put down.
Steel is the son of the president of the Satan's Savages . A bikie club which is not on the right side of the law. Steel is pretty rough around the edges but underneath is a good guy with a heart of gold. He just needs someone to bring it out in him. That someone is Willow. Willow is a kindergarten teacher and miss goodie two shoes. She craves for an edgier relationship than the last one she had. When Willow and Steel's worlds collide, nothing will ever be the same again.
I love how Willow has a pet pig named Petunia (so cute). I love how Steel calls chick flicks "clit shit". You will find yourself bursting with laughter reading this book. You will also find yourself involved in some tense moments. Get to know Steel and Willow. You won't be sorry!

Steel grew up in Satan's Savages MC , later becomes a member because all he has ever known was the brotherhood. Willow is a kindergarten teacher who craves something a little bit edgier than her last relationship. Enter an unexpected encounter between the pair and the sparks fly. Whenever these two are together they can't keep their hands off each other but an unexpected encounter leaves them fighting to hold on to their relationship. Will Willow be able to accept his brothers or will she give up the man who has claimed her heart? I for one am definitely intrigued and can't wait for the next installment of a great series!!

Heart of Steel by KE Osborn is the first book in the Satan's Savages MC Series of books.
Steel is a cocky, fierce, and gorgeous biker with the MC Satan's Savages. He loves his club and is the Vice President standing alongside his father, the President. He's young and has everything in front of him that the club can offer. Happy living his club life with his brothers, he has a choice of club girls at his beck and call, including one he is rather partial to - Lunar. Life for Steel is fast, free, and on the wrong side of the law most of the time.
Fate steps in and he meets Willow, a child care teacher and a woman who is sick of the mundane life she is leading. She's sweet, kind, gorgeous and sassy as all hell. When their worlds collide, the mix is interesting. Willow's "normal" life combined with Steel's "club" life, the combination is electric.
The secondary characters are well developed and, let's just say, they are not run of the mill bikers. What I loved, is that there is a good laugh thrown in as well as serious and sometimes disturbing issues. This is not your average MC series, it has so much more.
This was a hard book to put down, and a page turner. I loved everything about Steel and Willow's relationship and I cannot wait to read more about them in the next book. I am also looking forward to seeing where this series leads, I know there is a lot more in store. This is absolutely a five flaming star plus read for me.

I think I am in MC book heaven at the moment as there are so many fantastic biker reads releasing and this one is on my list.
Steel a typical alpha, playboy biker strolls around in life and never lets anything bother him. Being brought up in the MC he knows what his role is and where his life is going, that is until he meets a red headed kindergarten teacher.
Willow is a woman that has a job that she loves and comes across as a good girl, after meeting Steel she shows her trues colours and it is true what they say about red heads.
An engaging read, that had you glued to the pages right until the end. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Holy crap that ending... i need more!!! This is my first K.E. Osborn book and I can say for a fact I will be reading more. This is an MC read like none other.. yes it has bad @$$, sexy, scary bikers but it doesnt make you feel like you have read this story line in any other MC book!!
The ending gutted me... Why.... that is all i can say without giving something away about this book. This book had me from page one all the way to the end. I could not put it down. Its gritty, raw, will pull emotions out of you that you wouldn't think you would feel while reading an MC book. You not only fall in love with the main characters but the secondary characters too and I for one cannot wait to read more about the Savage's.

Ms Osborn has gone in a different direction with this book. She has decided to write a MC series.
This series is set in Australia and has brand new characters that you want to fall in love with. There is a lot of angst but there is some love there too.
These characters come to life in your head with the descriptions that Ms Osborn creates. This book sets up the story line for future books but also shows the different characters and how they all interact with each other to make things happen.
Steel and Flame will bring you to your knees and make you want more. Well done on creating another set of characters that you want to know more of.

This is not your typical biker story. Yes it's intense and has lots of hot bikers but it's differences make this book amazing.
Steel is not the kind of man that has on old lady. Sure he has his favorites but that is as far as it goes. Love is not in the cards.
Willow is a sweet school teacher. Something about her draws Steel to her and the bad boy image really appeals to her. The problem is she is not sure she can handle the club life.
When her life is soon danger Steele makes a difficult decision.

Steel is a sexy biker and Willow is a kindergarten teacher. They couldn't be more different. When they first meet the attraction is so strong. I loved watching them together. Is it possible for their two worlds to come together or will the dangerous MC world keep them a part? I enjoyed finding out in this HEA. Great start to a new series.

A great interesting book. The first in the Satan's Savages MC. Ignore the picture of the guy on the cover because I like his description in the book much better 😉. Plus the cover guy is too old.

If you read my review of Shattered I said you were supposed to read the Shattered Heart series first because that is what I read before but now I'm seeing to read this series first. After reading this book I think this is the correct order. This series then the Shattered Heart series.

Wow..this MC book was freaking BAD ASS!!!!
This book was about Steel-hard-core biker that is in the Satan Savages MC, which has a crazy encounter with Willow-AKA Flame who is a kindergarten teacher. She is kind and gentle and is sick of the simple life and wants to try something different.
She is sassy.
He is cocky.
They are drawn together by fate.
But together they could lose it all.......
This book will take you on one HELL of a ride in the MC world.
I freaking enjoyed reading this book sooo much. I actually felt like I was wacthing my fav TV show-SOA. I mean there was some crazzzzy bad ass MC stuff going on in this book. lol This was my first book I have read by KE Osborn and OMG I will definitely be reading more by her!!! Her descriptions of stuff going on in this book make you as a reader feel like you are right there in the room with the characters of the book..lol I felt like I was on the back of the bike with Steel and felt like I could feel the rumbeling of the bike underneath me with her writing style!!! It was awesome!! Ohhh and I would also cringe at the battles the Clubs would get into, I felt like I was right there watching the fight unfold, every hit and every slash of a knife...sooo wild. Sooo good!!
There is also some really funny things that would happen in this book, like wait to you find out what type of pet Willow AKA Flame has, you will laugh out loud when Steel gets his first experience with it..lol I also loved the other MC guys in this book, well most of them anyway..lol One of my favs was Techie!! He is a crazy nerd dude. He always had some nerd mumbo jumbo to share with Steel that would leave you laughing your ass off!!
"Psychologist studied data from over ten thousand speed daters and found most people make decisions on an individual's attraction within three seconds of meeting the other person, on another note, it takes only up to four minutes to decide if you actually like someone or not. According to the dilation of Steel's pupils, the tall stature of his stance, the lingering looks he's been givin you since you walked in here, and the fact he's been a moody little fucker since he met you, I think it's safe to say within three seconds he was attracted and....." WELL see, you get the point. lol This book is full of his Techie'isms...lol
Anyway..if you have not read this book, you sooo need to pick it up, you have to find out if Steel and Flame make it together, or will Willow AKA Flame find this life is just tooo much for her!!

Hearts of Steel is the first in a series of reads in the Satan's Savages MC and it is action packed starting with a full on scene of bullets flying and members being lost. The club needs to move fast and fill the chairs of lost members and with a new VP who has plans for the club there is unrest in the ranks. Trying to change the club ways will take time and effort but can Steel start sowing the seeds of change. He starts by organising a charity fun run and ends up with an expected complication.
Willow is a teacher, a well respected and sheltered young woman who is as opposite to Steel as you can imagine. Yet the electricity between them in undeniable. Can she adjust her expectations to fit in to his lifestyle can she accept that life isn't black and white but shades of grey? Their romance is a slow burn as neither one knows how to pursue the other with new ground being covered, driven by their need to see one another no matter what. Can a biker boy and a teacher make things work?
Set in a fractious time for the MC their romance has many obstacles to overcome. Steel is immature and a biker best through and through although his love for the innocent and animals saved him in my eyes. The scenes with Petunia and Jackson stole the show! Willow is a good girl ready to get a little naughty but maybe being a bikers woman is a little too much too soon? Club business is fraught it's a dangerous time and not everyone is onboard with Steel losing his heart and gaining the VP patch. Who can be trusted and who's blood will be shed next?
Ending without actually ending and on a big reveal I can't wait to five straight into the next book. I need to know what happens next. This story is gritty, exposing the darker bloodier side of the MC life with many brothers falling victim to the war raging. The sex is hot but club life takes priority in this story rather than the romance which for me is the best balance as I like MC reads dirty and bloody.

Steel is hot as sin but yet as cocky as they come but I guess when you’re that hot and can back up your mouth why can’t you be cocky. Steel lives for his club his lost 2 blood brothers when he was younger and his mum walked out as she couldn’t handle what the club entails.
Steel loves the club life style he has Club whores at his beck and call which is great because he isn’t looking to settle down anytime soon, or is he?
She’s a fiery red head who is a goody goody, she is a kindergarten teacher at the local day care and she loves her job.
Her life is simple
Her life is easy.
Her life is predictable.
Her life is about to change.
By chance two totally different world collide but can these two worlds stay collided together?

We really enjoyed this book we liked the way these two beautiful souled tried to mix there worlds together and enjoy each other as much as Willow AKA Flame struggled with parts of the MC she tried for Steel AKA Dylan, she was in love with him and she needed to see where there future took them little did she know where it was actually going to take them, but she loved him and she was willing to go where he went.
There were lots of little twists and turn in the story we would love to see where there story goes!

This was my first book by KE Osborne and I'm really sad I haven't read any of her others before! I'm really interested to see where she goes with this MC series!
Heart of Steel does end on a cliffhanger. I for one, cannot wait to see where it goes in book two. While it is an MC book, it doesn't have the same storyline as many others. It's so hard to describe without giving away anything.
Steel is the VP of the club, he's completely wrapped up in the brotherhood and lifestyle the club has provided. Willow lives the picture perfect life, however the predictability has had itching to break out of the day to day mediocracy.
The two are complete opposites. Steel has club girls at his beck and call, and no desire to settle. Willow is a school teacher and leads the goody-good lifestyle. It was good to see the author show Willow struggle with some aspects of club life, I like that she didn't just agree with everything that goes on in the clubhouse.
The connection between Steel and Willow is amazing, and the drive from both of them to be together and make the relationship makes for a page-turning book. I found myself rooting for them to work everything out so they would be together.
This book isn't for the light hearted, it does have violence in it, starting with the first page. I didn't ever find a lull in the action throughout the entire book.
The twists and turns in this story left me reeling. I can't wait to see what's in store for these two with book two!

He meets Willow a teacher and she intrigues him with her flaming red hair and her quick wit. She is so different then the women he is used to spending time with in the MC.
Willow meets Steel completely by fate and wants to get to know the real Steel - not who he is supposed to be. The more time Willow and Steel spend time together the more their feelings start to grow. Then Willow walks onto something that gets her into trouble and things change for Willow and Steel.
This story told in dual POV’s KE Osborn does a fantastic job taking her readers on the journey with her characters. It is a little slow to start the story of Willow and Steel but there is a lot of action in the beginning that it makes up for it. The secondary characters are flushed out well and I can’t wait to get to know them as the series moves forward. There is a cliffhanger but the good news is that the next book in Willow and Steel’s story is due in February so we don’t have long to wait.
I highly recommend this story for all the KE Osborn fans out there and if you are new to her stories I promise you wont be disappointed!

I LOVED IT!!
This book was way more than I expected. It has a little bit of everything. At times I laughed so hard I cried and at times I cried so hard I couldn't catch my breath. At times it was intense and suspenseful and romantic and sexy as hell. When Steel meets Willow it's lust at first sight. He meets her when he saves an adorable little boy named Jackson who runs out into the street to get a closer look at all the motorcycles, Willow is his teacher. Jackson is 4 yrs. old and immediately loves Steel and parrots every curse word Steel says and it's freakin hilarious! Willow is a shy, sweet, kind of naive woman who has lived a very sheltered life and the immediate chemistry between Willow and Steel in off the charts. She's ready for some excitement in her life and that's where Steel comes in. And HOLY CRAP! Does he bring the excitement. Lust turns into love and danger that comes to Steel is aimed right at Willow or Flame as Steel calls her. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Be prepared for a cliffhanger that will leave you screaming but make you want more.
I've just read this book again for the 3rd time and OMG! I laughed just as just as hard as the first. Every time Lookout saw blood and says "Catch me fuckers" I laughed my ass off. 😂 Then when Flame calls Steal Colossal Cock I spit water all over myself and was cracking up. At times I was laughing so hard I cried and at times I was bawling my eyes out. Poor Knucklehead and Cassius now that had me bawling.
