The people at this store has disappointed us so much that we had to return the setting and diamond. Our engagement ring was purchased and resized a few times from the Seattle location, we love the ring and customer service so we believed in the brand. Unfortunately that location closed. So we went to the one in Bellevue. Let me tell you our experiences:
- First, the guy at the first appointment was very impatient with my husband's multiple questions. He was just plain rude, but my husband was in a mission and he wanted to leave with a ring. So he purchased the setting and diamond. I also loved it when he showed it.
- My husband came back to the store twice trying to get it put together and resize, but the people there refused to do it and asked to have me come in person. I have measured my finger, show them the tape as well as the drawing on the paper, and yet they were dumb AF, they couldn't do a google search to calculate the diameter from the circumference that I gave. Still demand him to bring the wife in, twice. Let me give you the formula ok? d = C/pi, there ! Middle school math at most! Or just go to google and plug in the numbers.
We purchased the lifetime warranty, they said they didn't want to resize more than one. Really ?

Thank you for sharing the experiences you had at our Bellevue location. I am so sorry to hear that you returned the ring that you loved. I apologize for the frustration and disappointment it has caused. For accurate sizing we do ask that the person wearing the ring comes in to be fitted because while we may be able to calculate the size they are not always as accurate because if the method you are using is too snug or too loose it will throw off the sizing and another factor is that we have to make sure the ring can fit snugly over the knuckle without being too large. Do not buy a ring here! I recently went into the store just to take a look at some rings and beginning researching into what my options are. I told Michael multiple times I won't be buying anything that day but he just kept pushing to order now it sounded like I was going to die if I didn't order something right away. The prices are a joke they told me a lab grown 1.6ct oval diamond G color and VS1 clarity is $4k which is ridiculously overpriced. I bought a much better and bigger diamond off of Ritani.com for $950 and I'm having a local jeweler set it for me for 1/3 of the price that they charge. It's crazy how they are still in business. I also got the same exact setting for half the price at that jeweler.

Let's talk Turkey here for a minute. I got a 1.7k Diamond for $7500 and was told it was of the highest quality. Granted I needed to get married in a hurry this year (I won't go into why) but I should have done the research.
The center cut was from robbins bros but the ring which I got at Leo Hammel was about $2,000 with trillions added to the sides.
I got completely scammed out for the Diamond, which Leo Hammel told me I could have sized up for a 3k Diamond for the price I payed for it.
Do yourself a favor, before dropping 10,000$ on a ring, do your bloody research and go to the right store.
I am however happily married.

I am very satisfied with my experience at Robbins Bros of Bellevue! Great store. Great atmosphere. Great fish tank, cared for by Aquarium Concepts. In all seriousness the associate who helped me pick out my wife's engagement ring and wedding band was a great guy and a big help. His name was Michael. He has 18+ years of experience in the jewelry business and he is definitely in a profession that suits him best. He made my experience fun and easy without feeling overwhelmed. We received great service from Michael with re-sizing our Tacori engagement ring recently. Despite some issues with a lack of communication from Tacori (a supplier to Robbins Brothers), Michael worked very hard to make sure my fiancee had her engagement ring in time for our wedding shower.

This is a very long review. And I want to start off saying I always had good experiences at their old Belltown location. And highly recommended them. Sadly those experiences are over. And I do not recommend them anymore!
After not being able to get my rings off for over a year, we decided to have it cut off where the rings are from so they could fix it(instead of emergency cut off and damage the ring beyond repair). Which they told us to come back in a few months to get resized and fixed. Never mentioned possibly couldn't.
Took longer then planned to get back, sadly to find out the other location was closed so ended up here.
Brought my rings in, explained the situation. Was told very quickly didn't think either could be repaired, as rings "were old, and didn't work with that metal", would have jeweler look. But most likely a lost cause. Was also informed missing diamonds from where the ring was bent. I had no idea as they had lived in the box after they gave them back after the cut.
I left trying not to cry, finding out that my rings couldn't be fixed was very shocking for me.
They called to inform me neither could be fixed, to old, to damaged and won't work with the metal. The wedding band is from 2010 and platinum, the engagement ring is from 2015. Had to upgrade because the other one from them the prongs kept bending and dropping the Diamond.
"When would you like to come in to look at new rings?" "We offer a Diamond upgrade".
The whole experience here just felt like trying for a sale, and didn't care that I just wanted my rings fixed.
I know this was a very emotional thing for me but with being in the wedding business it all felt very uncaring and more about a sale then the memories of my rings.
I ended up taking my rings for a second opinion, that experience was a 100 times better. And was given a reasonable quote.

Incredible customer service and enjoyable memories to look back on for years to come. My now fiancé and I have browsed multiple jewelry stores looking for the perfect engagement ring and each time we found ourselves coming back to Robbins Brothers. Not only were the sales associates beyond helpful and considerate of our time and needs, every encounter we had left us with a sense of joy and peace of mind knowing we were in the right hands. I've worked almost exclusively with Michael Milner for several months, and his guidance, expertise, and compassion for his customers is the sole reason we're delighted and ecstatic to come back to Robbins Brothers.

My husband and I purchased an engagement ring from the Bellevue store and my band from downtown Seattle store. We did engraving on both rings, Bellevue store charged us 100 dollar+ tax, while Downtown Seattle store did it for free. We couldn't figure out why same brand stores had different policies. We had Bellevue store done it first, so we didn't go back and ask.
Two years later, after having my first child, I had to resize my rings. We always go to Bellevue location as their parking is easier. So I went back to get my rings resized. As I mentioned, both the rings has engraving, they didn't check before resizing them, so letters on the engagement ring was gone. I had to leave the ring there again to let them redo the engraving.
Another two years after, my engagement ring cracked open at where they did the resize. I was kinda shock to see it break so early. I don't do heavy lifting or other hard work. So we went back to the store seeking for repair. Michael assisted us. He asked a few questions and told us the ring might need to be sent back to the original company to be fixed, it wouldn't probably take 2-3 weeks, would give us a call when it's done. This was on 5/27/2023.
3 days later, he called and asked for my finger size. I expected him to know it already as I resized there before,the store should have the record. But somehow he didn't. He suggested we should go in and size my finger to be precise. Even though I thought we could have done this when we first went there for the repair, but I guess he forgot. So I went to the store again just to measure my finger.
2 days later, he called again and asked me to go back to measure my finger again! I said I just did 2 days ago. He literally just forgot about it!!
On the beginning of August, we finally heard back from Michael, he told us the ring would arrive on 8/11. He would let us know when it's ready to pick up.
On 8/27, I texted him asking when I can go pick my ring up, he said it should be ready today. They just inspected it yesterday. What a coincidence, I asked, the ring got ready in 2 hours.
Today, 8/31, I drove down to pick up the ring, the size was wrong, it didn't fit. He explained there was some miscommunication between him and the ring company, so the company didn't do the size right. I asked if he didn't check the size when it came back to the store, he sounded like they were busy inspecting it and nobody checked the size. I just had to leave the store without my ring AGAIN! Wasn't it his responsibility to double everything before having me picking it up?!
Its been 3 months, they still haven't been able to fix my ring. It's 25 miles each way to go to the store, they made me going back and forth at least 3 extra times. On 5/6/23 my wife and I purchased a wedding band and diamond for $4870.84. At the time they stated that they would need to wait for the band to come in, before setting the diamond. Late last week (6/8) the store contacted us and asked us to pay an additional $200 due to them "needing to develop new CAD files for the ring." This was never discussed during the purchase and their is no agreement of a price change after the initial sale for that purpose.
We did sign a document that stated: "This is a good faith price estimate based on current metals and diamond market price s; however, because Robbins Bros. is committed to delivering the best possible value, changes that occur in these markets will be reflected in our prices. As a result, Robbins Bros. may lower or raise the quoted price to reflect the market levels at the time of your purchase. Special orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable all sales are final upon ordering."
The reason for the additional charge has nothing to do with the metal and diamond markets at this time. I believe this is an illegal and purposeful bait and switch tactic and they are now holding the wedding ring and my money hostage.
They have my ring, diamond and they have all of my money and are refusing to release any of it unless I pay an additional $200. This is illegal and I'm filing a notice with the attorney general of WA state.
