    Pseudoexfoliation and Late-In-The-Bag IOL Dislocation

    Cataract/Anterior Segment

In this interview from AAO 2015, Dr. Liliana Werner discusses a case series of late in-the-bag lens dislocation, suggesting that pseudoexfoliation (PXF) may be significantly underdiagnosed. Of the 40 specimens in the series, 26 had histopathologic evidence of PXF, but only 13 had a clinical history or evidence of PXF. She also discusses a series of specimens containing a capsular tension ring (CTR), offering possible suggestions for late dislocation with a CTR.
