Meet authors while they talk about their experiences in writing and share their books.

Gail Lukasik: Gail Lukasik writes the Leigh Girard mysteries—a seasonal series set in Door County, Wisconsin. Peak Season for Murder, The Lost Artist, Homeless, In My Own Words: True Stories of Homeless Mothers. Gail appeared on the national PBS series Genealogy Roadshow. The show solved a family mystery involving a life-long secret her mother kept. Recently she was invited back to the show to update her family story

Sam Weller: Sam Weller is the authorized biographer of the late writer Ray Bradbury. Bradbury Chronicles: The Life of Ray Bradbury, Listen to the Echoes: The Ray Bradbury Interviews, Shadow Show: All-New Stories in Celebration of Ray Bradbury. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Creative Writing at Columbia College Chicago.

Rebecca Makkai: Rebecca Makkai is a Chicago-based author of the novels The Borrower and The Hundred-Year House, and the new story collection Music for Wartime -- four stories from which have appeared in The Best American Short Stories. She has taught at Northwestern University and the Iowa Writers Workshop.
