Just released today that Cyborg will take on the Peacemaker at the catchweight of 140lbs at UFC 198: Werdum vs. Miocic in Cyborg’s home country of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.

So now that Cyborg is officially signed and that it was reported earlier this month by ato the UFC which she has been all along according to many media outlets she will be fighting in home country with the UFC for the first time. Cyborg who has demolished her competition fighting with Invicta FC and is currently the Featherweight Champion of the world with the promotion. Cyborg who became the Featherweight champion back in 2013 has never lost her belt since and is on a 5 win streak since her drug bust back in 2011 in which she was suspended for a year, since she has stated that she’s clean and every drug test that has been given to her she has tested clean.

Leslie Smith who is 2-2 in the UFC and 8-6 overall just won a decision over Rin Nakai and will taking on the baddest woman on the planet and will test Leslie’s toughness since coming off a awful ear injury in which we saw her ear half ripped off from her head. It took sometime for that to heal and it showed to have healed perfectly going the distance against Nakai and getting the decision. Leslie with a about a year and half layoff looked good against Rin, still not sure if she can take on the beast in Cyborg but she is tough as nails and this could be a good matchup.

Most fighters that have gone against Cyborg know what to do but something about Cybrog make the fighters intimidated and they get off their game plan. Cyborg’s last opponent did something that no fighter has done before and had Cyborg a little crossed but overcame that and KO’ed her at the end of the first round.

UFC 198 takes place on May 14th, 2016 at Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil. The main event will see Fabricio Werdum attempt to defend his heavyweight title for the first time, as he’s set to face Stipe Miocic.

The venue UFC 198 will be held in has a capacity of over 42,000. It’s very likely the event will sell out, with such a stacked card full of Brazilian talent.
